Cassidy's P.O.V.
I couldn't stop trembling.
I was so close to losing my babies.
"Sweetie everything's okay. You're safe." Said Mom as she hugged me tight. "Everything's gonna be fine."
"No its not." I cried softly. "River went after Mark. Mom he could die. I can't lose him. I just can't."
"River's not gonna do anything to get himself hurt Cassie. He has two newborn kids now that he has to help take care of."
"But mom you don't know River like I do." I insisted. "When he gets like this, he stops thinking clearly."
"Max is with him."
"Max was out of it too did you not see his face!?"
"He'll come back to his senses eventually and keep River out of trouble."
"No, someone needs to go find them."
"Danny and Xander already went. They left for Blairwood." Said dad.
My heart dropped.
Noooo no no no....
"B- Blairwood?" I stuttered.
Dad nodded his head yes and stared at me, waiting for me to explain why I looked so uneasy.
"They can't go there! Dad call them! Now!"
"I tried but neither one of them answered. Why isn't it safe?"
This was bad. If I lost River, Max, and my brothers.... There's no telling what I'd do.
"Cops are here." Said one of the nurses.
"Wait..." Legend began. "You called the cops?"
"No, I did. Why?" Asked Dad.
Legend looked at me with concern.
Then two cops walked in.
"Holy shit..." Lindsay mumbled.
"Is everyone in here okay?" One of them with a nametag that said "Nichols" asked.
"Yes everyone's fine but we have four people that went after the two guys with the guns." Answered Gabriela.
"Does anyone know who the two guys were?"
The room was silent.
The only people that knew who they were were me, Legend, Journey, AJ, Jordan, Ryan, and Sony.
But we couldn't get the cops involved.
"Cassidy tell them." Said Dad.
"Uh- I uh-..."
"She doesn't know who they were." Legend interrupted.
"Do you?" Officer Nichols asked.
"No." Legend Stated.
"So if none of you know them, why did they put a gun to your head?" He asked me.
"I don't know..." I responded. I was so nervous.
The officers stared at me with an unconvinced look on their face.
I was about to give in but I knew I couldn't.
Legend glanced at me with a "don't tell them anything" look.
"Well, I suppose we could just take a look at the cameras around the hospital to get a clear shot of the men." Said the other officer. "We'll be back shortly."
After they left Legend and I sighed a huge sigh of relief.
While Dad stared into our souls.
"What the hell was that?!" He angrily asked. "You both knew who the men were! Why did you lie? Why are trying to protect them?!"
"We're not trying to protect them we're trying to protect River, Max, and your sons." Legend stated.
"By not telling the cops the names of the people that they went after? Yea that definitely makes sense."
"There are things you don't know." Said Legend. "I'm not gonna go into detail about those things but trust me when I say that if the cops find out who those two men were, you're gonna have two less sons."
"How do you expect us to make sure this won't happen again? And what if they're all in trouble and need help?" Dad fussed.
"I'll go look for them." Legend retorted.
"I'll go with you." Said AJ who had finally somewhat relaxed.
"No, you and Jordan need to stay here. You two are gonna lose it if you see Mark and I don't need that happening. Ryan and my dad can come with me. Sonny, stay here and make sure no one else leaves until we get back."
Meadow started crying so Lindsay picked her up and held her to calm her down.
Meanwhile I still held Kaiser, who still had that smile on his face. He was such a happy baby.
I gave him a soft kiss on the cheek and the most remarkable thing happened.
He opened his eyes for a split second and looked at me as if he was letting me know that everything would be okay.
His eyes stared into mine and I smiled back at him as a tear slowly started to roll down my cheek.
I was so unbelievably happy because at that moment I realized something...
He had River's eyes.

Legend's P.O.V.
"I still dont see why we couldn't have brought my bodyguards." Dad complained.
"We have to sneak into Blairwood. The less of us there are the better chance we have of not getting caught. And could you maybe drive a little slower? We're getting closer to the gate. They're gonna hear the car."
He slowed down and we parked about 50 feet away from the gate.
"What if we get caught?" I asked after we landed from jumping the gate.
"Run." Said Ryan.
"But what if they have guns..."
"Run faster." He replied.
"I'm sure we can negotiate with them." Dad remarked.
"What? You're gonna bribe them?" I asked.
"No I'm going to tell them that if they dont let our people go I'll call the cops."
"You're gonna call the cops.... On other cops?" Ryan asked confused.
"They'll just shoot you." I told him.
We turned behind a building and saw a huge courtyard.
How the hell were we supposed to know where they were?
"Someone's coming." Ryan warned as we hid behind the dumpster.
Two men with police uniforms on walked past us while continuing their conversation.
"He's a kid. He'll get over it soon." One said as the other one laughed.
Once they were out of the courtyard we emerged from behind the dumpster.
"I forgot there are kids here." Said Ryan.
I honestly did too.
"These poor kids. Getting treated like animals." He continued.
We saw two young boys, maybe around the age of 8-9, struggling to pull along a trash bag twice their size. One had a bruise under his eye, a few on his arms, and a scratch just above his lip. The other had a scar at least 6 inches long running down the side of his face and scratches on his arm.
Suddenly a guard, who looked pissed, pushed the one with the bruises to the ground and kicked the trash bag causing the trash to go flying everywhere.
He then walked into the building as the boy sadly walked over to a flight of stairs that led to the inside of another building and sat down, defeated.
The one with the scar solemnly started to pick up the trash.
We walked over to him and he stared at us as we helped him as if he was a little lost.
Ryan placed the last piece of trash back into the bag as the boy spoke.
"Thank you." He said with a soft adolescent voice. "I've never seen any of you guards here before."
"Oh we're not guards we're trying to help our friends." Ryan replied. He held out his hand. "I'm Ryan, this is Elliott, and this is Legend. And your name is?"
He cautiously shook Ryan's hand and answered: "I'm Scar."
Oh how ironic.
Ryan walked over to the boy on the stairs and asked him: "What's your name?"
He took a while but finally responded with: "Benji." Not once did he remove his hands from in front of his face.
He looked depressed which was crazy because he was so young.
"How old are you Benji?" Asked Ryan.
"10."
"And you Scar?"
"I'm 10 too."
Wow. They looked a lot younger.
"How long have you been here?"
"Since Christmas."
It'd been almost a year since Christmas.
If we weren't in the middle of such a bad situation I would've suggested that we just take them both out of Blairwood and back home with us.
"Do you like fixing things?" Ryan asked Benji.
Benji nodded his head yes as he slowly began to remove his hands from his face.
Ryan smiled and pulled out an old watch.
"This watch was given to me by my dad. Its been in family for 4 generations. It stopped working for some reason about a year ago. Think you can fix it for me?"
A small smile spread on Benji's face as Ryan handed him the watch.
"The next time I come here I hope you'll have it fixed."
"He will." Said Scar. "My brother's good at fixing stuff."
"Benji! Scar!" We heard an angry voice yell out. "Where are you!?"
They both looked at eachother then at us.
"They're gonna hurt you if they catch you." Said Scar.
"Hurry, come with us!" Benji insisted.
We quickly followed them into a buildig then into a small room with two beds.
Benji opened a closet door and hurried us inside as Scar tried to hide the trash bag that they hadn't yet taken out.
The three of us crammed into the closet and closed the door just enough to see through a small crack.
The door to the room swung open with much ferocity scaring both of them.
Benji took a step back while Scar stood his ground.
"Who were you two talking to?" The guard asked.
"Eachother you dimwit." Scar shot back.
The guard laughed. "You think you're funny dont you?"
He stopped laughing and paused as he scrunched his nose up.
Benji and Scar looked up at him but with different expressions.
Benji stared at him with fear.
Scar stared at him with hatred.
The guard pushed Scar out of the way causing him to fall then knelt down by one of the beds as he pulled out a completely full trash bag.
"You two were supposed to take this out an hour ago." He said.
They continued to stare at him but didn't say a word.
He stood up and aggressively threw the trashbag.
He grabbed Benji by his shirt and slammed him against the wall. Benji fell after the impact and held his head in pain.
Scar's hands started to shake but the guard threw one hard slap at him.
Ryan was about to charge at the guard but Elliott quickly stopped him.
He shook his head no and held up his finger as a signal for him to wait.
"You two little fuckers wanna disobey me and not do what the hell I tell you to!?" The guard asked. "Fine, guess I'll just have to beat some fucking sense into you both again."
He grabbed both of their arms and pulled them out of the room.
I wanted so bad to just run after them and help them but I knew the guy had a gun. I also knew that there were at least 20 other guards within the vicinity of us. If I did anything to get caught I'd get killed and that wouldn't help the kids nor River and the others.
Once we felt that the coast was clear we stepped out of the closet.
"This isnt right." Said Ryan. "How could you even do this to kids?"
"Some people are screwed up in the head." I replied. "Very screwed up in the head."
