:l Last chapter was a bit boring wasn't it? I promised this one would have action, and SHABAM! it has action. Well, you don't know that yet, 'cause you're reading this instead of the story. Read the story after I announce the dedication, okay? Okay.
Dedication: bubblesKnight
That's right: bubblesKnight. You don't know who that is, do you? It's one of my spatucalar reader and story adder to their library person :)
Now, it's time to read the story.

Chapter Thirty-One:
I pulled the blanket up, shivering. I groaned, now my feet were cold. I scrunched myself together and lay on my side. My teeth chattered in the chilly breeze of the homeless shelter. I couldn't endure this cold anymore.
But I sadly had too. I couldn't sleep. Something would always wake me up. The chills, the shuffling noises of people getting up to go the bathroom-let's face it, I woke up to the slightest touch or sound. The sound I woke up to was repetitive though.
It was the sound of footsteps. I knew it wasn't the homeless in the shelter though. I was awake, so I would've seen them walking around. It wasn't shuffling, like the visitors here, it was heavy pick-up-your-feet footsteps. I would see a shadow appear in the curtain-less window every few minutes.
I heard a muttering next to me. I tore my gaze from the window to look over my shoulder. I squinted to see better. It was darker in here then it was out there. It was Alyce who was muttering.
"No..." Alyce whispered.
Alyce moved her head away from me, then she moved it towards me. Her arms were sprawled away from her, her blanket twisted up around her legs.
"No." Alyce said, more louder and persistent.
Alyce's hands came towards her face, covering up her face.
"No!" she yelled from her hands.
I decided to wake her up.
"Alyce." I said, softly.
Alyce shot up from the floor and swiveled her head around.
"It's just me, chill." I said, calming her.
Alyce ran her hand over her face and through her hair.
"Why are you up so late...or early?" Alyce looked around for a clock.
"Early." she decided after finding it.
"I keep hearing something." I admitted.
"Oh, you heard it too?" Alyce surprised me.
I nodded, "Let me wake up-"
A hand flew over my mouth from behind me.
"Ka-!" Her own voice was cut off by a mysterious hand that appeared behind her too.
The people who weren't there before, appeared now. One male, one female. Alyce had the woman behind her, and from the masculine hand, I figured my invader was a man. I kicked my legs and tried screaming underneath the hand. Dejectedly, no one woke up. I tried raising my voice along with Alyce's screaming.
Something clicked beneath me, and Alyce's eyes widen as she looked towards my throat. Her screaming suppressed. I looked down at my own chest, only it was the throat I was looking at. A long, gleaming knife was held at my throat. I shut down my muffled screams, too.
"Stand up." a deep voice ordered.
I obeyed, shocked at my obedience. Maybe it was the knife at my throat, you never know, right?
I was shoved towards the exit. The man opened the door, and he shoved me towards that too. Alyce was somehow in front of me, but I still felt the presence of someone behind me. The knife was not on my throat anymore, so I could safely turn around. Kate was there, looking tired and scared at the same time.
Behind her was another man. None of these people I recognized. Which...was not always a good thing. I was expecting us to get locked into another stereotypical van, but it was actually a helicopter. Alyce turned around to face me, her face filled with shock.
I responded with the same expression.
"Get in the helicopter." the man said.
"Yes, sir." I decided to be myself again.
He tried to scare me with his knife.
"I've had worse." I shrugged.
The man didn't bother to respond, instead he put the knife in his pocket. Then he revealed a small handheld pistol.
"Worse." I yawned.
He gave up and sat next to the pilot.
"You're so...not there in the head." Kate shook her head.
"Well, I ain't gonna let him think he can just push me over." I said.
"Good point..." Kate said.
The copter started making the loud swishing noises, then I felt the jolt of the copter lift off the ground. Kate looked a bit scared.
"Kate, we fly higher then this. It's fine." I tried calming her down.
Kate relaxed a little bit, just enough for me to see.
"I know...I know." Kate breathed.
"I don't think that's the problem." Alyce said.
"I don't know where we're going to end up. Dead in the U.S or stuck between the Atlantic Ocean and Europe." Kate admitted.
"She has a point. Unlike us, we know when we're about to go down. The helicopter doesn't." I said.
"Oh."
******
"Dang, my ass is starting to hurt from sitting so long." Alyce announced.
"Lovely, Alyce, lovely." I said, staring out the window.
Alyce got up and walked to the pilot.
"When are we going to land? I'm getting bored." Alyce said.
"We aren't here to entertain you, sit your ass back down, and you'll see when we get there!" the English pilot exclaimed.
"Sheesh, dude. Chill out." Alyce muttered as she walked back towards us.
"Never heard an English guy cuss. It's pretty cool." I said and Alyce looked at me like I was crazy.
I shrugged.
"It doesn't fit really, but it is cool." Kate agreed with me.
"See?" I gestured towards Kate, looking at Alyce.
Alyce rolled her eyes and grinned.
"Do you feel that?" Kate asked.
"Feel what?" Alyce said, and then we all felt it.
The elevation of the helicopter was decreasing, the fans were starting to slow down.
"We're landing." Kate said.
"Finally." Alyce said.
The copter landed, and we were ushered, or more like shoved, out of the helicopter. I began to follow the woman in front of me, before the man stopped me.
"Ah, ah, ah, little girl."
"How is fifteen little?" I mouthed off.
Without a word, the man bounded and gagged me.
Great, a re-run of when I was five, I thought to myself.
My hands and feet were tied, no movement could be done. I was stuck. Which sucked, because I had a few choice words for this man. The last thing to be tied off was my eyes. The man wrapped around a black piece of cloth around my eyes.
I felt myself being lifted, and then I felt going up and up more. I was going up stairs. The smell hit me. You know that smell? The horrible smell of a hostpital.
"Where should I put her?" I heard a woman ask.
"You know where to put her." One arm left my body and then was placed back.
The bounds on my hands and feet were removed. I felt a hand on my back as I was guided down the building.
"Okay, stop walking." the woman told me.
I heard the jingling of keys and then they were put into a lock. I heard the sudden click.
"Get in." The woman untied the cloth on my eyes and shoved me into a small room.
And when I say small, I mean small. Alyce and Kate were pushed in afterwards. The heavy metal door slammed shut, then the terrible sound of a door locking.
"I told you so." was all Alyce said.
Her body language told me she was mad. Her eyes told me more.
"And when did you say that?" I asked.
"Never..." Alyce admitted.
"Mhm."
"What do you think they're going to do?" Kate asked from a corner.
"What they always do: terrorize us." I answered.
"Or use us is another term we could use." Alyce put in.
"Yeah." I agreed.
The door opened again.
"Kat, you're wanted." someone new said.
I got up with an uneasy feeling. I followed the new person down the hallway and into a dark room.
"Kat, would you like us to help you? It may cause you to betray your friends though."
