Me, Zero, Kuon, and Sloth arrived at the magic land, we are currently traveling to the wind kingdom. Grandpa says that the magic land is divided into kingdoms that focuses on one type on magic. That means that there's a different kind of magic practiced in every kingdom. For the wind kingdom, they focused on wind magic and that is where Soren is right now.
Kuon: This feels just like the old days when you, me, and Sloth are finding Soren. Brings back memories, doesn't it?
Zelphine: Yes but you're forgetting that Zero is also here.
Kuon: Meh, I guess.
We arrived at a town in the wind kingdom, everything here seems to be powered by magic. The lights, roads, and even the buildings. The people here seems to all carry a magic book, staff, or wand. Some of them had magical weapons or objects.
We passed through the town and arrive at the front gates of the wind castle. I knocked on the front door and it opened with a slight breeze blowing out of it. The person who greeted us was a girl with short black hair and eyes. She was just a little shorter than me and had a large fan strapped to her back.
?? Girl: Oh! You must be the new disciples who are here to learn wind magic from King Solomon!
Zelphine: Uh..No wer-
?? Girl: Come in! If there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me. I'm Kagune, pleasure to meet you all.
The girl named Kagune dragged us to a library where several other people are studying and practicing wind magic. Ugh..I really hate this place, I just can't sit still and read books. It's so boring! How can these people sit here for long periods of time staring at words? What's so fun about it?!
Kagune: Here we are. All the books in this library will teach you the basis of wind magic. It fact, I'll have someone to help you out.
Kagune then called a girl over here. She had short pinkish color hair and eyes was carrying a spell book.
Kagune: This is Celeste, she is a fire Mage who just started learning wind magic. If there's anything you don't understand when I'm not around, then you can ask her.
Celeste: Nice to meet you! Hope we get along well.
Zelphine: Yeah...except, we aren't here to learn wind magic.
Kagune: !! My apologies! It seems that I've made a mistake. Now then, why are you all here?
Zelphine: We're here to find Soren.
Kagune: Soren?...(cold tone) I see, you must be talking about the "branded wind". Why are you here to meet him?
Zelphine: It's because I have a lot of unanswered questions that I need him to solve.
Kagune:..Wait here, I'll go inform King Solomon about this.

Soren walked into the throne room and stood face to face with a man that had long blonde hair and green color eyes. There were Seven Sages sitting in the room as well and they all looked at him with disgust.
Soren: I've returned Solomon.
Sage 1: Insolence! To call the king by his name without title is the greatest disrespect!
Sage 2: What atrocity! This "branded wind" doesn't have the respects to even kneel before the king! Before us!!
Soren: Who cares, he's not my king. Why should I show my respects when you don't even show yours.
Sage 1: Why you little-!
Solomon: Elder, that's enough. We were the ones who dragged him into this the first place, we have no right to complain.
Sage: I-If that's what King Solomon wishes...
Soren gave a "know it all" smirk and that made all the sages angry but they were unable to do anything about it.
Solomon: Now, tell us Sorenoji, are you able to seal it?
Soren: Probably not alone, but I can do it if I have someone who's a branded just like I am.
Sage 1: Impossible! You expect us to ask help from another branded! I object!
The seven elders each voiced their complain. Just then, Kagune entered the room.
Kagune: I'm sorry to bother you King Solomon, but there's a lady here that asked to meet the "branded wind".
Solomon: I see, could that be a friend of yours?
Soren: Who knows? ( It seems that she's back. Oh well, I kinda predicted that she would come here.)

While I was waiting, I saw a girl listening to a man while he reads her a story. It's funny because this girl looks a lot like someone I know. She had light blue hair and was wearing a light blue color outfit. There was a mandolin strapped to her back and tiny droplets of ice began to form on her chair. When she turned around, she spotted me and waved.
Khione: Zelphine! Over here!
Zelphine: Khione?! What are you doing here in the magic land?!
Khione: I followed along since Soren is the one who's teaching me how to suppress my powers. I'm getting better and better at it, look, not much ice is forming.
It's true, the ice isn't coating the entire place like its suppose to. There may be some small droplets forming but, who's going to notice. Just then the man who was reading Khione a story spoke. He had black hair and was sitting criss crossed on the floor.
Black hair man: Someone you know Khione?
Khione: Yes, this is Zelphine.
Black hair man: Well Zelphine, I'm Damien...Pleasure to meet you.
Zelphine: You too.
Just then, Damien threw the book in the air and the wind guides it towards the book shelf. It magically went in by itself and that made me curious. He didn't even utter a single spell or wave his wand.
Zelphine: H-How were you able to do that without a book or wand?
Damien: Hm? That's because I'm a sorcerer. I don't need anything to channel my magic with, it just comes naturally.
Zelphine: That must really come in handy.
Damien: Yes, sorcerers are savants who are born with a specific kind of power. We have a mastery over it and do not need to practice it. However, unlike mages, we cannot learn any other magic besides the one we are born with.
Zelphine: That's quite interesting, tell me more.
Damien: Let's see, most savants in this land are mages. Mage is a term referring to people who learn a elemental magic of any kind. They can learn any magic however, it takes a lot of time and it has to be compatible with the user.
Zelphine: What do you mean compatible?
Celeste: Here, let me explain. I'm compatible with fire and wind magic. Meaning I'm able to learn them. But I'm not good with water magic so I'm unable to learn the spells.
Damien: Yeah, that about sums it up. There's one important thing you should know, magic users aren't good against close combat. However, it's a different story if it's a Mage knight. Mage knights are savants who can use a weapon and fight in close range combat. Like mages, they are able to learn elemental magic and cast spells. In this land, black magic users are considered unholy and people don't usually get along with them. Witches and wizards are black magic users but they can also use elemental magic as well. They are known for being good at brewing potions and you don't want to know what they put in them. Another type of magic is enchantment and enchanters can power up a persons strength, speed, or defense. They can also create barriers and heal the injured. They basically use support magic and have no effective offensive spells.
Celeste: There's also the shamans and Druids. Shamans evoke evil souls from the dead. They use summoning magic to call on the souls to do their bidding. They can also use black magic and Druids are more spiritual and their magic is based on nature.
After awhile, the library doors open. King Solomon and Soren went in. When everyone saw Soren, they gather their books, and left. Celeste and Damien did the same thing.
Zelphine: Soren! There you are...(looks at Solomon) You must be the king of this land, state your purpose for taking my tactician.
Solomon: I see, so you are the one Sorenoji approved of. I'm sorry if I have caused you any trouble, but we were only borrowing his power.
Zelphine: What seems to be the problem.
Soren: You see Zelphi, it seems that Zephiel's influence has begun to spread in this land. There has been a total of three unidentified portals opening around the kingdom. What comes out of the portal are black unknown creatures that reforms and grows larger the more you attack it.
Zelphine: Thats weird, these creatures you described sounds like the same ones Ysviel used. His weapon was called the abyssal scythe. I remember him opening a gate and these black creatures came out from it.
Soren: I see now, that gate he had, and the portals, they must all be connected to the abyss.
Zelphine: The abyss?
Soren: Yes, it's the Netherworlds where it's almost impossible to get out. If you are thrown into the abyss, you will face those creatures and the only escape is when someone opens a portal from the outside.
Zelphine: What are you going to do about those portals?
Solomon: For now, we set a barrier around the three portals but we are unable to seal them. In order to seal them, we need a large scale of magical power so only the branded ones can seal it. Sadly, Sorenoji says that he can't seal it alone so we need to find one more "branded". Besides Sorenoji, there are two other people who we know are branded. The wizard named Merlin, who is the "branded lie". And the Necromancer named Mammon, who is the "branded evil".
Zelphine: "Branded evil"? "Branded lie"? Why are they called that?
Soren: It's just the name they give to each "branded one". Mines is called the "branded wind". But you see, we don't know where Merlin is right now and Mammon has been missing over 100 years. He's probably dead now.
Sloth: No..greed is very much alive.
Zelphine: What?
Sloth: The one you called Mammon is currently named Greed. He is alive, I can feel it. But I suggest you do not ask for his help. He cares about nothing but himself.
Solomon: I'm afraid you're right. Mammon was a man who seeks knowledge, he couldn't get enough of it. Then one day, the idea of immortality crossed his mind. After that, he left the land to search for it and never came back. You should know, the law of the universe states that there is no such thing as immortality. People who are born will most certainly die someday. That is the law.
Soren: Then I guess it's settled, we'll find Merlin. We might not know where he is right now but since Merlin is a wizard, we can start by going to the dark kingdom. Mostly witches, wizards, and dark magic users are from that kingdom.
Zelphine: Great, then we'll travel to the dark kingdom tomorrow. Soren, you're coming with us right?
Soren: Yes, I am.
Solomon: If that's the case, I want to lend you a hand. Kagune, please go with them.
Kagune: But your majesty!
Solomon: Please Kagune, put aside your resentment and anger.
Kagune: Alright...
