After they showed the match up for the 32 participants, Round one began. Including Sheele, there were about 4 girls competing in this. I also saw the gray-haired man and the little gray girl from this morning competing too. Also, that samurai named Hatsu also made it through, I can tell he is strong. They say that he and papa were evenly matched last time, but I won't get discourage. Zero can beat him...right?

Everyone passed easily without fighting each other. I was amazed when I saw Zero fighting someone with animal ears. They must be from the beast land. How cool! 16 winners

Zero and Shion passed easily. Kuon, Sheele, Tidus, and Raine had some trouble. 8 winners.
Kuon vs. Feng
Kuon was fighting a man with black hair and wears black inside and green outside. He had a cloth with the character 风, which means wind. With the time limit of 5 minutes, the miester yelled start and they started fighting. The man name Feng unsheathed his sword named Aeolus. When he did, a gust of wind surrounds him. He then slashes the air and a wave of wind shot towards Kuon. Kuon side stepped and charged forward with Arch Nemesis in hand. They attacked each other blow after blow. In the end, Kuon knock Feng's sword out of his hand and won.
Raine vs. Uriel
Raine's opponent is the little girl I met in town. She was the one with long silver hair and red eyes. I kinda know what's going to happen.
Raine: No, I won't fight a women, especially not children. I'm forfeiting.
Thus, Uriel won by default.
Sheele vs. Haku
Sheele's opponent is a guy with long black hair and a white ribbon tied to his sword.
Haku: (Holds out hand) (smiles) Let's have a fair fight.
Sheele: .......
They stared at each other while the man named Haku waits for Sheele to shake his hand. But Sheele just stands there silently. Seeing that he isn't going to quit, Sheele reached out and shakes his hand. Both of their hands were cold.
Once the match start, the man named Haku draws his sword named Shiraiyuki. When he did, his hair turned white and snow gather around him. Sheele prepared herself and got out her katana named Suishou. In the end, both of them lost because they reached the five minute time limit.
Hatsu vs. Tidus
All I can say is that it was one sided and Hatsu won. He uses a katana called Gaia and it can manipulate the earth. He really will be tough to beat.

Zero vs. Shiki
Zero is fighting the guy I met at town. He had grey hair and his sword is curved like a snake. He also has his eyes closed for some reason. I watched them as they fight. Shiki's sword named Ophiuchus is very flexible. It can curve, bend, and straighten out. Not to mention, he's doing all of this with his eyes closed. I guess his hearing is very precise. But Zero is strong too and he keeps up with Shiki's movement. It was getting close to the time limit and neither of them are willing to give up. They have 5 seconds to finish this off. Zero somehow caught Shiki off guard and won the match. The time left was only 0:01.
Shion vs. Hatsu
Shion scattered his butterflies as he unsheathes his sword from his red umbrella. The samurai named Hatsu attacked him head on. He can manipulate the ground and made Shion lose his footing. In the end...Hatsu won again.
Kuon vs. Uriel
Kuon is fighting Uriel now.
Kuon: What, why is my opponent a kid?
Uriel: I'm not a kid.
Uriel has a metal sword with a long blade on top and a short blade on bottom. The swings on her sword were strong but she is small. That made it easy for Kuon to knock her sword out and he won. Kuon is actually doing good on this.

Kuon vs. Chiyo
This time, Kuon is fighting a girl with black hair and red eyes. She was wearing a black hat and had on a ribbon. Her sword is black and there is a tint of red at the tip. Her expression was also very blank.
Kuon: (sigh) Why am I fighting another girl?
Chiyo: (blankly) Hold still, I'm going to cover you in red.
She then lunge forward and attack Kuon. She was fast and Kuon barely had time to block, he got cut slightly in the cheek by her sword. Blood then runs down his face. Then something weird happen. The blood flowing out of Kuon is actually flowing towards her sword as if it was attracted to it. The reason for that is because her weapon is a blood sword. It is a sword that draws the blood from an opponent once you cut them. Then you can control it forming it to any size and shape.
There are 5 types of weapons. The soul weapon, elemental weapon, magic weapon, special weapon, and the anti weapon. Each of them has their individual qualities. Chiyo formed a small blade from Kuon's blood and shot it towards him while attacking. Kuon blocked the blood sword and blocked her attack. He was losing a lot blood because it was flowing out of him.
Kuon: (breathing heavily) I was hoping to save..this for the final round. But...I guess I have no choice.
Kuon focused all his aura into his sword hand. The dark energy then cloaked a black armor around his hand and sword. It then solidify into black metal with black flames surrounding it.
Kuon: Doom of the Adversaries!!!
With one stroke, he swung his sword at Chiyo. She tries to block it but the force pushed her back and slam her into the wall. When the smoke cleared, she was unconscious meaning Kuon is going to the finals.
Zero vs. Hatsu
I'm worried about this fight. This samurai beat Tidus and Shion easily, I hope Zero will be okay. Hatsu race forward and made the first move. Zero was prepared to dodge his attack but then a wall suddenly appeared behind him. With nowhere else to run, he parries it but then received a cut from his arm.
I could see black blood flowing out of him but then the strangest thing happen. Zero's black blood then recedes back into his skin and just like that, the wound was healed. There was no trace of it being cut.
Zelphine: Huh? What th-!
Luciano: (seriou)(Impossible! I've never seen anything like it. No one can regenerate that quickly and automatically....no one except the one from the legend.)
Soren: (serious)(That man really is unusual. I usually know when someone is lying or what a person is thinking but...he is the only one I just can't seem to see through. Still, how was he able to regenerate himself, it shouldn't be possible.)
There were murmurs going around in the crowd, everyone was shocked. The fighting continued and Zero suffered more and more damage. But every time he does, his blood would just flows back and his wounds closed up. After a minute, Hatsu stopped attacking.
Hatsu: Swordsman, I do not know what kind of trick you're using. But just because my attacks aren't working doesn't mean you have won. I can still knock your weapon out of your hand.
Hatsu stopped aiming for Zero and aimed at Zero's sword. He continuously beats on Zero's sword but Zero won't let go.
Zero: (Voice: Fufufufu. Wha- No, don't come out right now! Voice: Relax, I'm just here to give a little help. I do not need it, whatever you're planning is only trying to help you take over my soul. Voice: Then I guess you don't really care about winning this for that little girl. Wha-? Voice: Fwhahahah!!! You know what I'm talking about, I'm you after all. We are the exact same person. Now, unleash the power of Ragnarok! (note: That is the name of Zero's sword) I...won't do it. Voice:You fool! You can't beat him without your true powers. Come now, use the power of Ragnarok and crush that puny man below you! No..I will never be like you. Voice: Fufufu..then if you don't mind, I'll be interfering now. Pride..greed..envy..sloth..lust..wrath..gluttony.) Arrgggh!!!
Zero then held his head tightly and falls to the ground. Hatsu stops attacking and looks at him confused. Oh no! Zero must be having his headaches again. At this rate he'll lose. Before I know it, I began to yell.
Zelphine: (loudly) Zero! Zero!!! Stay strong, you can do this! Don't give up!!
Zero: (Ah..it's Zelphi's voice. Voice: What?!! Grr..it's that girl again!)
After Zero heard my voice, he got up as if nothing had happened. With less than a minute left, he charged towards Hatsu and attacks him faster and stronger than before. With skilled maneuvering, Zero jumps into the air, lands behind Hatsu, then side stepped in front of him and dealt the finishing blow. Hatsu fell to his knees and lay on the ground unconscious. The crowd cheered, Zero looked at me and smiled.
Zero: (smiling)(That's right..if she's by my side. Then I know everything will be alright. Hehe, It seems that I-) (note: Figure the last part out yourself)
