"Alright chat, since I do not want to burn the entire kitchen down, I have enlisted the help of my girlfriend, Y/N!" Jack announces, and you come running into view.
"Hello chat!" You greet, waving enthusiastically at the camera.
From Jack's phone which is set out to show the chat, you can read them all greeting you back and going soft over you.
Man, Jack's chat really loves you.
"Y/N is a professional baker-"
"No I'm not!"
"Hush, I am doing the introduction," He says. "Anyway, Y/N is a professional baker and will help me make a somewhat edible cake!"
You laugh and roll your eyes.
A little while later...
"Chat look! It's batter!" Jack exclaims, showing chat the pale yellow mixture in the bowl.
"Did you put sugar in there?" You ask, and Jack freezes.
"Shit." He mutters, placing down the bowl and reaching for the sugar bag.
More time passes...
"Well done with the pouring." You say, coming up behind Jack and placing your chin on his shoulder.
"Thank you! I think I'm on my way to becoming a chef myself." He boasts jokingly, giving a smile to the camera.
"Mmm I bet you are." You murmur lowly, forgetting the affects that tone had, causing Jack's face to flush.
"Sorry." You whisper, stepping back from Jack and checking to see if the decorations were prepared for the next steps.
As Jack places the cake in the oven and turns to you.
"Well, all things considered, if this turns out to be a bit shit, it'll be a good bonding experience." He says hopefully, and you chuckle.
"Yes it will." You reply, pulling Jack into a hug, which he accepts.
After the cake is done baking...
Jack practically throws on the oven mitts, grabbing the oven door handle and pulling it down, revealing the golden brown cake inside. He takes it out and presents it to you.
"It looks pretty good, actually, wow!" You comment, and Jack turns to look at you.
"You sound surprised? Oh my god, Y/N! You never believed in this cake!" He gasps, and you look away from his eyes guiltily.
As Jack complains to the chat, you pick up the icing.
"Wanna decorate?" You ask. Jack's eyes light up at the request.
"Yes!" He beams.
You go in with a white buttercream frosting to use as a base for Jack's actual decoration, and as you do so, Jack watches you.
The way your hands moved so expertly with the tools and the frosting was surprisingly interesting to Jack, he wanted to watch you work your passions all day.
"Jack?" You repeat, Jack perks his head up, and sees that you're done with the frosting.
"Oh! My turn!" He exclaims, grabbing various colours of icing and going to town with them.
At the end of the stream...
"Thank you, chat! I'm really grateful for all of you! This milestone is incredible." Jack thanks the chat, and as he does that, you sneakily cut a slice of cake.
A split-second glance down at you nearly left your cake-eating unnoticed, but with a longer second glance, Jack clocks that you're eating the cake.
"Y/N! Stop eating the cake!" He asserts, but although your eyes are widened and you look guilty, you don't stop eating the cake.
Jack reaches out to take the cake, but you gather the slice in your hands and back off.
Jack laughs as the chat pointing out that it's like he's trying to get something out of a dogs mouth.
"Drop it!" He commands, but his amused expression gives away the demand as a joke.
You quickly run away, and he chases you around the kitchen.
He finally catches you, wrapping his arms around your waist and bringing you close to make sure you can't run again.
"Give me the cake, you thief!" Jack snickers, and you contemplate your options before popping the cake in Jack's mouth.
He nearly chokes in surprise, but ends up chewing.
"Oh hey, that's nice!" He says, and you nod excitedly.
"And it's all thanks to you, Mr chef." You murmur, planting a kiss to the tip of his nose.
He chuckles, and you worm your way out of his grasp.
"Oi!" He calls out as you steal the camera and run.
The chat was obsessed with your dynamic, and loved you even more after that stream.
And, as you and Jack eat the cake, curled up on the sofa, you two couldn't agree more.
Especially Jack about that last statement.
