-----NO ONE'S POV-----
(y/n) had bought food and water that was good for 10 people. One for each ninken, one for Gray and one for herself. The line was long so they had to wait for a bit. They settled under a tree nearby. She positioned herself to sit with her back by the tree trunk and began passing out the bowls of food to everyone.
Aizawa walked around looking for any signs of his student. He figured he'd buy some food while he was searching and right in the corner of his eye he saw the pack of dogs and his student sitting comfortably under a tree.
"Here you are." The person behind the stall said handing him his order.
"Thanks." He paid and left approaching the pack.
As shy as a grown man could, he asked. "May i join?"
(y/n) looked up at Aizawa and giggled. "Of course! There's always room for one more."
"Why not?" Gray said looking up at Aizawa and walked passed him to join the pack of dogs.
"The more the merrier as i say." Bisuke said wagging his tail while the others nodded in agreement.
"Please, make you're self comfortable." Pakkun said motioning him to sit beside (y/n).
"Thanks." He said walking over to (y/n) and sat beside her.
(y/n) finished handing everyone their food and then leaned back to enjoy hers. The pack of dogs along with Gray started eating. "Thank you for the meal!" And chatted away, laughing enjoying their time while (y/n) and Aizawa sat in silence watching the people pass by. (y/n) had her fox mask resting on her head and whenever she would feed herself shed pull the other mask down and then pulled it back up to cover her face. Not the most efficient way to eat but what can you do when your surrounded by people who want to have fun and forget about the negativities? When they see her face, whose to say they wouldn't start another scene like the last time? Guess this was better than ruining everyone's day. A mellow breeze blew by. The sound of thousands of leaves hitting one another against the wind. (y/n) sighed at the familiar sound.
"Even though its a festival its kinda quiet." She commented.
"Its almost one. The customers have bought their food and now it's vendor's turn to have their meal. Maybe thats why its quiet." Aizawa said.
"Maybe." She said in thought.

After eating (y/n) placed everything the plastic bag and tied it shut and then left it on the side so she could throw it later. She turned to the pack of ninken and bent down in front of them.
"So you guys are leaving now?" She asked tilting her head to the side. "You know you guys are still welcome to stay here a bit longer." The dogs looked at each other. They looked at Aizawa for confirmation.
"Well there's not much to do. There's nothing really going on at the moment." Aizawa said and shrugged leaning back on the trunk.
"Maybe just a little while." Pakkun said then everyone cheered.
"Maybe some pets too, (y/n)? Please?" Bisuke said looking up to her smiling and panting with his tongue out while his tail wagged in excitement.
"Eh? Pats?" (y/n) asked surprised.
"I wouldn't mind pets too." Gukuru said standing up wagging his tail.
"Yeah!" The others cheered and hopped in excitement.
"We might be ninkens but we're still dogs. Give us scratches and pats please." They pleaded. Bull walked behind (y/n) and nudged her hand from behind.
"You too bull?" She asked looking at the large bulldog. Bull didn't answer but only huffed and stared at her with hopeful eyes. The others jumped and landed their front paws on (y/n) making her sit on her butt.
"I want you to touch my paws!" Pakkun said staring intensely at (y/n) with his paw raised. (y/n) along with the other ninken stared at Pakkun confused at his bold request.
"You want me to what now?" She asked.
"Touch my paws! Cmon they're really soft." He said moving his aw forward. She stared at him and so did the others not saying anything.
"Soft and supple.." He said trying to convince her.

She laughed petted whoever was closest to her and said,
"I guess it can't be helped."
Gray immediately stood up and walked beside Aizawa curling up beside him.
"Aren't you going to join in?" Aizawa asked.
"They play too hard for me. I'll just stay here." Gray said.
She scooped pulled everyone in and started petting and scratching them on their heads, backs, chest, sides and on there stomachs. The others squirmed out of her grasp and run around circling her while she stretched out her hand trying to catch them. Uhei who was behind her snuck up and nudged on her back to get her attention. Laughing (y/n) spun around and engulfed Uhei and some of the other dogs in a hug as she fell to the grass below her while stretching her head upward still trying to catch the one that ran around her. (y/n) was laughing while the ninken where barking, panting and wagging their tails.
Bull stood up and walked on top of (y/n) Then laid on top of her.
"AH! NO! BULL!" she said but bull didn't listen. She squirmed along with the other ninkens that got trapped under bull and crawled out. The girl faced the giant dog laughing while bull had his head up looking at her panting. "You're going to pay for that!" She Tackled bull and scratched his neck.
Aizawa smiled looking at (y/n). Maybe seeing her laugh and have fun with a bunch of animals reminded him that she was still 15. It was easy to forget that the girl in front of him, his student, was still 15. Especially given how serious she always has been on training and on the battle field. A teen who could have spent her life living normally, behind the comforts of a wall, sheltered and loved by her family but instead she grew up as a warrior. Both siblings lost their families and have been fighting for their home town that their parents supposedly died to protect and yet, still hated and despised by the civilians living in it. Maybe thats why she seeks comfort in the animals?
"Such good boys!" She said giving each of them a pat. Pakkun fell backwards and was now laying on his back by (y/n)'s leg. "You too Pakkun." She giggled and reached down to scratch the side of his belly making the dog's leg to twitch and kick. She laughed and leaned forward on to bull snuggling close to him. Pakkun jumped on the her lap curled up. (y/n) looked a the cat that laid beside Aizawa. "Wanna join in?" Aizawa looked away while Gray stared back uninterested.
"Come on." Gray sighed and stood up walking towards the pack. He jumped and was now on bull positioning himself to sleep on (y/n)'s shoulder. She smiled and leaned back while the others snuggled up around her. She then picked up Pakkun's two front paws and softly rubbed it with her thumb. She looked at him nodding in agreement.
"It is soft and supple."
"Right?" Pakkun replied.

After a few minutes of relaxing a couple of footsteps jogged towards them.
"Tsuneki?" The voice asked.
(y/n) looked up to the owner of the voice. "Yeah?" She asked.
The boy raised his hand, took the cap off his head and pulled it down so she could see him clearly.
"(y/n)?" He asked.
She sat up not breaking eye contact. She tilted her head to the side.
"Eren?" She asked to confirm her thoughts.
"Yeah its me." The boy smiled and nodded.
(y/n) placed Pakkun down and stood up reaching for her fox mask pulling it upwards then her other mask downwards. Eren looked behind him, towards his squad and their commanding officers.
"We'll give you two a moment." Hanji said smiling widely pushing Levi to the side while the group followed close by aside from his bestfriends, Armin and Mikasa.
"It'll be just a few minutes guys." He sent them a reassuring smile.
"Alright." Armin nodded and the two walked away to join the others.
Meanwhile (y/n) looked down at the ninken back then to Aizawa.
"Just don't wander too far." Aizawa said.
"Knock him dead kid." Pakkun said who sounded interested.
She didn't reply to the dog, instead she stuck her tongue out and quickly put it back and turning back to Eren. Eren moved to the side and motion for her to walk first, so she did.
(y/n) Reached for her mask, pulling it up on her face, leaving the fox mask on her head.
"Sorry. I just don't want people to recognize me while im wearing my Hero outfit." She said smiling apologetically at him.
"Oh! Yeah! No problem at all. I understand." He nodded. The two wandered not too far, just enough so they can't be heard.
"I was there. In the crowd i meant. During the sports festival." Eren said smiling awkwardly bringing his hand behind his neck. (y/n) looked to him wide-eyed. "Yeah. I was rooting for you to win. I for sure thought you would too."
"Sorry to disappoint." She chuckled nervously.
Then awkward silence

"Hey." The two said in unison. (y/n) smiled then laughed. "You go first." They said again making each other laugh.
"So." (y/n) started. "Makoto and the others said we have something in common? What's yours?" She asked curiously.
"Well, you see, Im a titan shifter. Its one of those uncontrollable quirks. People used to be afraid of me all the time." Eren said looking down.
"Its your quirk right? Why would people be afraid?"
"The titan quirk isn't really a pleasant one." He paused looking for the right words to say. "Its one of the older quirks that needs a sacrifice in order to get stronger."
"A sacrifice?" She asked sounding slightly more concerned.
"At first i wasn't able to control it and the first time i shifted i rampaged through anything that was in front of me. They say in order for the titan shifter to become stronger, they would have to consume someone with a powerful quirk while in their titan form." He said frowning at the ground which made (y/n) slightly guilty for even bringing it up.
"Sorry." She said looking down.
"Its fine really." He reassured. "And just for the record. I DONT eat people and i have no intensions of starting anytime soon." He said defending himself.
(y/n) smiled and chuckled. "Oh good. Thats a relief." She said sighing jokingly at Eren.
Eren laughed along too but stopped as soon as he heard her reply. "Wait you actually thought i was going to eat you?" He asked worriedly, fearing her just ran his first impression through the mud.
She shook her head and slowly stopped laughing. "No! im just messing with you." She said smiling cheekily. Which in turn relieved the poor boy's worries. She looked down and her smile slowly disappearing. I guess now was her turn to share. "Mine's not exactly my own. Its more of "A giant ferocious and powerful beast trapped inside me" kind of deal." She said marking quotation marks with her fingers then shrugged putting them down. "It can't exactly be controlled."
"So you're saying you were made to be a vessel for this beast?" He asked summarizing what she just had said.
"If you put it that way then yeah." She shrugged.
"Why?" He asked.
"Well, if the beasts weren't sealed away they'd probably terrorize our villages non-stop then there'll be nothing left but remnants of what we had lost. So, they picked people and sealed the beasts away."
"Can it be transferred to a different host? Like what if your body becomes weak? Wouldn't you guys risk death wherever you go?" He asked
"Well, That doesn't usually happen too often. We'd be injured but we'll heal back up because the beast can regenerate quickly but that doesn't really mean that we're immortal." She looked up to the sky. "If we die the beast dies along with us. The only difference is, they would be reborn again. That's why they seal it in to a different host while the vessel is still alive." She explained.
"Thats one hell of a story to say. 'I was one of the people to successfully extract the beast and sealed it away before it could escape and destroy anything in its way'." He chuckled.
"Well i suppose it is." It wasn't something anyone would say really, sure there were only few people who could say such things but being the jinchuriki its self wasn't so pleasing to hear.
"Sorry." Eren said once he took notice.
"Its okay. Its just being the host isn't really that pleasing."
"Maybe not yet." He said smiling encouragingly. She looked at him curiously.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"What i mean is." He tailed off. "Maybe whatever it is holding you down, making you feel bad about yourself now, is the same thing that'll boost you up higher than you've ever been." He pointed up to the sky. (Y/n) could only stare, not knowing what to say. "You may not know it but thats okay. I didn't either but once i accepted that no matter how hard i try, my quirk will always be with me and that wont ever change, i began accepting myself. Accepting that that what makes me, me. Our imperfections makes us perfect." He smiled.
(Y/n) stared at him not knowing what to say. She wasn't confused but she didn't exactly understand what he said either but some part of her believed him. She chuckled internally... This guy..
A bunch of voices called from afar trying to get the male's attention. Which they successfully did. (y/n) and Eren looked at this squad who was waving their arms up signaling him to pick up the pace. Eren waved back then turned to (y/n) again.
"Sorry about that but it looks like i need to take my leave." He said pointing at his classmates. "Which reminds me." He pulled out his phone and smiled. "Maybe we could exchange numbers so maybe when im free and your free.. we could... Maybe hang out somewhere? Hopefully somewhere were we dont have to wear our uniforms." He asked looking at her with hopeful eyes. She smiled back and pulled out her phone in her pouch hidden under the scarf that was tied around her waist.
"Id like that." She smiled wanting to know more about the taller male.
the two exchanged numbers and even decided on their nicknames on their phones. (y/n) typed in (insert nickname here cuz author-chan cant think of anything at the moment) for her nickname then gave back the phone to Eren. Eren did the same and looked down and his phone.
"____?" He asked looking up with an amused smile.
"Dont judge." She said pouting slightly.
He laughed. "okay okay."
(y/n) looked down on hers and bit her lip trying not to laugh.
"What?" Eren asked.
"Non-alcoholic Yeager?" She smiled at his creativity.
He chuckled and nudged forward. "Get it? Because my name sound like Jager?" She chuckled more and swayed her head side to side.
"Thats such a bad joke." She said. The two shared a laugh.
"Well, i guess i better get going." He said.
"Yeah." (y/n) said trailing off.
"I'll text you. Then we'll go hang sometime right?" He asked her excited for their next meet up.
(y/n) blushed faintly. "Right." She said smiling.
"Yes!" He said pumping his fist in the air and smiled brightly.
"I'll see you soon then! Its a date!" He said then placed his hat back on his head and turned walking away.
