"Yeah basically talking about Mr hottie," he said with a knowing look and my smile dropped.

Gosh, he heard everything.

"Um yeah- someone she um-" I didn't even know what lie I wanted to spill out.

"Yeah, the Mr hottie everyone knows so much?" He teased further and I glared at him, before walking towards the door.

"You were eavesdropping!" I said walking out and I heard his footsteps behind me and before I know it, I'm on his arms.

I gasped in bewilderment.

"Kingston!" I whisper yelled, I really didn't want people to see us like this.

He only chuckled. "Put me down!" I demanded and he only dropped me when we got down the stairs and then I walked away from him with a dramatic huff.

I walked into the dining room with my lips curled up, I couldn't help but think how we went from frenemies to- this I guess, I don't want to think about what we were now.

"She walks," I heard Mr Ivan mumble and I rose an eyebrow at that.

My eyes rose to meet Kingston's face and I found him glaring at Ivan.

What did he mean?

The though totally disappeared from my mind at the sight of Emma, in her usual state, sitting heads down, with that same depressed look on her face.

Why does she pretend so much?

My mood totally ruined once again, I decided it would be the last, I found my way to take a seat across her, my eyes creeping her out and obviously, that was the essence.

The sound of the seat right beside me squeaking made me realize that I wasn't the only one in the room once again, yes that's how much concentration I poured on gazing at her.

Kingston nudged my arm beside me but I ignored it, everyone else on the dining probably noticed everything going on, besides the tension was thick also, just then Mr Ivan decided to clear his throat like it would stop me from speaking my mind anyways.

"Why the hell are you here!?" I blurted out.

Her eyes snapped to mine in fear, I noticed Mr Ivan's hand slipped under to her side, giving her comfort, I guess...

"My love, please not now," Kingston pleaded with his eyes, as I felt his hands softly rub my thighs too.

"No, I want to know why she's here," I urged.

"What are you up to? Why are we living under the same roof? Why-"

"She can explain alright!" Mr Ivan snapped, I quivered, but that didn't stop me from responding.

"Well then let her speak Mr Ivan, you're not her spokesman are you?" With the tone of my voice, I guess that ended the brief conversation with him, as he swallowed whatever was left for him to say, even though that was unusual for a man like him.

"Mae," I heard his sweet voice call again.

"I just want to hear it, is that bad? I have the right to know why she's here!" I couldn't help but exclaim this time, my patience was running thin and my anger losing out.

And there she was, sulking again, honestly, that was already pissing me off the more.

"Why are you so emotional?" My irritation wasn't missed.

I heard Kingston scoff, muttering something like "as if you're not,"

"Mae," she finally started between her sobs, and my eyes squinted, trying to understand what she was about to say.
