"Okay." Liam will definitely throw Angel's teddy the second we leave.

"Liam, can we talk please?" I asked and he nod his head. I put Angel in her wheelchair and pushed her. "Please don't move." I kissed her on the forehead.

"What do you want Angel?" Liam asked.

"Thank you." I started. "Thank you for saving my baby. I know I said harsh things because I was hurting but I promise I didn't mean it. You are not a bad person Liam."

"I know who I am, I don't need your words." He replied. "Now if you done, leave."

"Liam, if you want to see Angel you can. I know you didn't want to be part of her life but you had your reasons so if you changed your mind you can see her."

"You think I donated blood to your daughter because I care about her." He giggled. "Angel you are stupid and naive. I only helped you because you promised to do anything I ask." He continued. "Angel, I am Liam. I will never change. It's in my blood to be like this and that daughter of yours means nothing to me. She can never change me and if you think I will change for her then you are wasting your time."

"Then why did you help her?" I asked.

"That was a favor." He replied. "She is your weakness, not mine that is why I donated my blood. You promised you would do anything for your daughter and I need someone that I helped to do something for me."

"What do you want from me?" I questioned and he smirked.

"You'll know when the time is right so leave my house now." I don't know if I should take him seriously or not. Liam is so confusing.

Angel and I both left his house. The whole car ride I couldn't stop thinking about what Liam could want from me. He has everything so I am sure he doesn't need me. He probably only said those things because he wants me to hate him. But if that was the case then he should've just asked me directly to hate him. Over the years, I learned to stop loving people I hardly know. I never want to experience heartbreak again. I know I care a lot about Simon but I don't think I love him as much as I used to love Liam. I will never be able to love someone as much as I loved Liam.

Angel was so tired that she fell asleep the second her body hit the bed. I left her room and went to the kitchen. I need to cook for her and force her to take her medicine when she wakes up.

"What did you and Liam talk about?" Simon asked and I turned to him. "I'm just curious."

"Oh." I smiled. "Liam and I hardly talked. I just thanked him for helping Angel and he said I shouldn't thank him."

"Liam doesn't want to be thanked." He giggled. "How well do you know Liam?"

"Liam and I met when we were kids, then we met again when we were teengers and now as adults too so I think I know him way better than you do." I answered. "So tell me how do you know Liam?"

"Everyone knows Liam. I mean, the guy killed his parents and brother."

"Don't tell me you believe that nonsense." What is wrong with everyone? How can they believe everything they read online.

"It's not nonsense, it's the truth and it would've been proved if all the witnesses didn't die."

"Let's say I believe you and Liam killed his own family." I replied. "Tell me, why the Mayor and Liam hated each other."

"The Mayor is his puppet. You know Rex and Liam are not--."

"I am talking about the previous Mayor. The one that died years ago." I hate that man so much. I wish he was still alive so I could kill him this time.

"Liam killed the Mayor so no one could ever find out Liam's secrets." Simon replied. "And by the way, how do you know the Mayor is dead? Were you there when Liam killed the Mayor?" He asked and I turned away. "Stacey, you witnessed a crime and you didn't report it. What if someone finds out you were part of it? Who will raise Angel?"

"I was pregnant, I hardly remember anything from that night so just drop it." I told him.

"Stacey, don't be stupid. Liam knows you were there that night. He will never go down alone. He will take you with." He said.

"Simon, you know Liam personally that is why you hate him, right?" I asked.

"I hate him because he is a coward. He left his own daughter for his own selfish reasons." I trust Simon but I know he is lying to me right now. He is hiding something else from me.

"You are a good father." I replied. "Thank you for always putting Angel's first in your life." I hugged him. "If I could change her DNA and make you her biological father I would."

"Thank you." He smiled. "But I don't need Angel to carry my blood in order to call her mine. She was always my daughter since the first day you lied about adopting her from Britney and Calum."

"Sorry about that." I can't believe I let Calum and Lexie convince me to tell Simon such a big lie.

"It's fine. Angel is your world, if I was in your position I would've also lied about some things." He kissed me. "You are a good mother, but it's just so sad that you used to be with a horrible man like Liam. You get targetted because of Liam and Angel is in danger because of him."

"Why are you bringing Liam into this? He is in my past and I can't change that."

"That is the problem. Stacey, you do not understand, you will never understand." He mumbled. "You just too sweet and naive." He cupped my face. "You know when I was growing up, someone special once told me." He wiped his tear. "One day, everything will fall into place and we will have our happy ending." He turned. "But that never came true, it was a dream short-lived."
