@ his family is very cold(sorry to be basic like that😬), though he has a good relationship with his brother. The basic backstory is they are very rich and give Yoongi and his brother lots of money to live their lives and do what they want. As long as they don't f*ck up or spend it on stupid stuff, they remain well taken care of.
@ because of this↑ when Namjoon is struggling with college debt, Yoongi offers to help him out with housing. They end up being roommates in Yoongi's apartment and Namjoon finds out about Yoongi's family situation. He doesn't ask, and Yoongi helps him out wherever he can.
@ relationship status: {sexuality- gay} dated a few times in college, all ended badly because they weren't very nice people. The last relationship however, ended even worse cause the guy was actually nice but just wasn't ready for commitment or whatever. Accidentally came out to his parents who had little to no reaction, basically confirming his idea that they couldn't care less about him. Currently: lonely and single

@ his family is a bit neglectful of him because they have a lot of money issues. He does his best not to be a burden so they don't worry and can support his younger sister, but secretly it hurts him allot that they don't seem to care very much about him.
@ went to college with Yoongi and loves him like a brother. He's the first family Namjoon's ever really had that wants to take care of him. He resents Yoongi's parents and tries to make up for their shortcomings.
