"I can't believe him."

"Hobi it's not that bad."

"He's such an asshole."

"It's not that baaad~" Jungkook sings teasingly.

"I'm happy for you", Hobi's tone has shifted into that of a middle school boy mocking his teacher. "Oh Hoseok, I'm so HAPPY for you." Hoseok kicks the snow, "Little TWIT."

"Will you stop, okay, he didn't even mean it like that!"

"Oh," Hoseok laughs sarcastically, "He definitely meant it like that, the utter turd he really just wants to mess with me, doesn't he?"

"And why can't he just be happy for you?"

"Because! He knows that I like him! This is his way of turning me down!"

"Okay, now you're just flat-out insane. That or... an idiot."

Hoseok stops in the snow to glare at Jungkook. "Way to kick a man when he's down."

"Okay, I'm sorry, I'm just saying, you know literally nothing, and to a normal person, that was a normal interaction. Don't read anything into it until you properly ask him out and get rejected."

"Have you been paying attention?! I can't ask him out, because he already asked me out. I AM A TAKEN MAN!!!"

Jungkook laughs hysterically and pats his friend on the shoulder. "Okay, okay, I admit, nothing about you guys is normal. I still think you should confront him though."

"Yeah, or I could just wait for our date..."

Jungkook raises an eyebrow. "How's that been working out for you? It's been, what? A month? Two?"

Hoseok scowls. "Stop it. I know. And you can't say shit it's been... fucking years for you."

Jungkook's face twists in anguish. "ONE year, thank you very much."

Hoseok laughs and then casually adds, "You know what, you're wrong."

"Hm?"

"We're both idiots."

"I think it's time we headed out, no?"

Namjoon glances around at Yoongi who's passed out at the counter muttering to himself, at Taehyung who's been baking for the last 2 hours sense they arrived and then back to Jin.

"Yeah maybe. It's pretty late."

"My place or yours?"

Namjoon gives Yoongi another calculating look and then laces his fingers between Jin's, grinning. "Mine should be a pretty safe bet..."

Jin narrows his eyes but tightens his grip on Namjoon's hand and suddenly stands up shouting, "Tae! We're heading out!", causing Yoongi to jolt awake and almost fall off his stool.

Taehyung pokes his head out of the kitchen and frowns, "But... pie..."

Yoongi is awake enough now to observe the Are you kidding me? Look that Namjoon and Jin exchange before they just shrug and leave.
