CLARKE POV
We're back in San Francisco and we have one more week before we go back to LA. After that eventful New Year celebration, Lexa and I are finally going on a date. But both of us decided we should tell Octavia and Raven first. And well, I have to ask my parents about it too.

Me: Hey mom, dad. Can I talk to you for a bit?

Marcus: Of course, what's wrong?

Me: Well, I kind of..am going on a date.

My dad's eyes widen but my mom was just smiling at me knowing I'm going on a date with Lexa.

Marcus: What?! Who is this guy? I need to talk to-

Abby: Calm down, Marcus. Let Clarke speak.

I mouthed a thanks to my mom and she just smiled nodding at me.

Me: It's not with a guy, dad. It's with Lexa.

I looked down waiting for a yell from my dad. But what I go was unexpected. He pulled me in for a hug.

Marcus: Oh thank god! Did you think I would get mad?

Me: Yea. Cause it's a girl.

Marcus: So what? She's human, that's important. And she's amazing. I'm happy as long as you are, sweetie.

Abby: See I told you to talk to her.

I smile at my mom. My dad protests on why my mom knows before him. The three of us burst into laughter. After talking more about "Dating" and "relationship" rules from my dad, I went to look for Raven. She's with Octavia and Lexa watching some movie in the living room

Me: Rae, can I talk to you for a sec?

Raven: Of course, Griff. I'll be back babe.

Raven and I went to my room to talk.

Raven: What's up, Griffster?

Me: Uh. I need to tell you something. And I'm going to need your help.

Raven puffs up her chest thinking I'm in some sort of danger. I just chuckle

Raven: Do I have to kill someone?

Raven: Do I have to kill someone?

Me: No. But maybe you'll kill me.

Raven: What? I wouldn't. I love you.

She pulls me for a hug and we tickle each other for a few seconds.

Raven: What do you want to talk about?

Me: I am sort of going out on a date.
