Max seeing this was also shocked.

"Monsters can drop items too?" Max thought.

Max kept the item in his ring. He wanted to give both the grimoire and lifeforce to Mr. Verglas as it was more suited for him than Max. He wanted to use the grimoire but he figured it's better for Mr. Verglas.

Seeing how he has gotten two decent treasures from this level, Max knew there had to be more. Max started to look around more and soon he found 2 more secret rooms. One was under a massive rock with the other was under a snowy tree. Max managed to get an item each from both places.

Seeing both items, Max cringed. They were really bad.

"My system's shop gives me better items. These are quite bad." Max thought.

Max quickly stored both items away into his ring and made his way to the ruin door.

"Wait. Where is the next door?" Max thought. After looking for long enough, Max groaned. He knew why he couldn't find the ruin door.

The ruin door was in another secret room. There were levels like this whereby it would seem the ruins had been completely explored but in actuality the ruin door was in another secret room. This was primarily the main reason why nobody could safely say they cleared the whole ruin. There was always another hidden ruin door.

Not wanting to spend the day searching for the ruin door, Max walked back to the second level. He wasn't going to spend the day searching for secret rooms. According to explorers, such ruin doors were extremely hard to find. The longest one took around 106 years.

Max reached the second floor and was about to go to his second room when he saw someone in the garden. It seems he wasn't alone. Max slowly inched his way to the garden with his sword raised.

Max peeked from the wall and was greeted to Sylvia training her ability in the garden. Max watched as she tried to summon the strange ice spears that she made previously when fighting Teeth.

Max watched as she created one after another. Soon she created a total of 10 spears. It seems that was her limit as she seemed to be sweating.

Max walked towards Sylvia and greeted her.

"Hey! It's me. Are you training?" Max asked her.

Hearing the sudden voice, Sylvia freaked out and dropped all 10 ice spears onto the ground.

"Hi Max. You scared me. What are you doing here? Did you come back from the ruins?" She said.

"Sorry. Yes I just came back. I saw you practicing and was curious. What are you doing by the way?" Max asked her.

"Oh me? We have this tradition in our family. We create ice spears as a symbol of our strength. The more you make the stronger you are. I... am pretty weak." She said sheepishly.
