The next day was a Saturday and Sanem had invited both of their families and some of their friends, to come have a cook-out and visit with Osman and Ayhan. She phoned Leyla and told her what was planned and for them to come if they want, but they would understand if they decided not to come.
Leyla told her she would talk to Emre and they would decide. She said she would like to see Osman, but wasn't sure if it would cause problems. She did not go into detail, but Sanem was concerned that it had to do with Emre. When she ask Can if Emre was acting up again, he said he didn't think so, but he would see if he could find out. That he really thought Emre was excited about the new baby and really loved his sweet Ahu. He had not seen any signs that Leyla and Emre were not getting along at work.
When the family and friends arrived at Can's and Sanem's everyone was so excited that Osman and Ayhan were there. More than one person noted that Osman went straight to Deren.

The Aydin's and Divit's were really happy to see Osman, and very happy that Ayhan had decided to stay a little longer.

The last to arrive were Leyla, Emre, and Ahu. They greeted Ayhan and Osman, Emre was a little reserved, and Leyla was friendly. Ahu was so excited that there was a party, that she was greeting everyone as if she were the hostess. When Ayhan introduced Ahu to Osman, she stood there for a minute, then said, "I like you and you can be my brother, too. I'm going to have a new brother soon."
