The whole family was very excited to hear that the babies would be born on the following Monday. Sanem and Can spent the weekend resting and preparing for the big day. Sanem prepared many different foods to put into the freezer. It would make it easier on Can and herself after the babies came home, and they wouldn't have to depend on family for too much help.

They spent several hours with Emre, Leyla, and Ahu on Sunday afternoon, showing Emre how to take care of Baby and the kittens. He had agreed to come by mornings before work and evenings after work to check on them and feed them. They figured that they would just need somebody to help for a couple of days.
When twenty-month-old Ahu was playing bubbles outside with Can and Emre. She got very excited, when Can told her they were going to get three babies in a few days. She loved coming to Teyze Sanem's and Dayi Can's house to play, now there would be three babies.

When everyone left Sanem and Can sat on the couch with their animal babies, hugging each other. They were excited and nervous about the birth of their babies. Can was worried about Sanem, but she told him laughing that everything would be okay, their biggest worry would be naming all these babies. Besides, she is ready for the babies to come.
He just hugged her tightly, and said, "Let's go snuggle and sleep, because this may be our longest sleep for the next eighteen years."
Sanem laughed and told the animal babies, "You had better go to sleep too, because you won't be sleeping much either."
Early the next morning Sanem got up first and took her shower, she was dressing while Can was in the shower. She was going to wear a cute maternity dress, with a tie wrap. She thought it would be good to wear home afterward. Hopefully, her stomach would go down and she could tie it tighter. Suddenly she was stuck in the dress. It would not come off or go on, as her arms were stuck straight up in the air.
