Sanem, Ayhan, and the children had a wonderful day. They played inside the house and when the weather warmed up, they played outside. Even thirteen-year-old Eren had fun with the younger children. He was so good with Ian, that Sanem thought he would someday make a wonderful Baba or a teacher.
Sanem had pre-prepared dinner, while the babies napped earlier. Between Ayhan and herself, they had prepared a buffet type dinner with many different types of dishes. The boys were excited that Sanem was planning to spread everything on the long dining room table, let everyone fill their plates, and eat anywhere they wanted.
They had prepared flat bread, Turkish beef meatballs, Turkey koftas, chicken kebabs, broccoli carrot tabbouleh, and several other dishes she had prepared in the freezer. She and Ayhan made Baklava and a pomegranate cake with lime and pistachios. Ayhan said her mouth was watering, just looking at all the food.
