Hating gabi na at hindi pa rin ako makatulog. I get up from bed and decided to read books. Nakatulog na si Ambrosia at Aeneas. They are so peaceful asleep but I can't.

Nakarinig ako ng kaluskos sa labas. Bakit naman may kalusko pa ngayon kung parehong tulog na ang lahat? Baka dumating na sila Alaric galing sa hunting. Pero impossible iyon. Umaabot ng madaling araw o umaga na nga sila makakauwi.

"Come on, there's a party. We need to go and find some hot guys to flirt with. Baka naroon ang crush mo na taga ibang bayan", boses ni Adeliza iyon if I'm not mistaken.

Lumabas ako sa kwarto at sinilip ang kung sino man iyon. I saw Adeliza run down the stairs while keep on pulling Minerva with her. Halatang ayaw umalis ni Minerva ngunit pinilit siya ni Adeliza.

"Hey! Where are you going? It's late!", sigaw ko sa dalawa. I don't care who will hear me. If someone will hear me the better para mapigilan ang dalawa sa pag-alis.

Adeliza just glared at me. "Shut up!", aniya sa akin at mabilis silang lumabas ng pinto doon sa bandang likod ng palasyo. Hindi ko sila masundan ng tingin dahil madilim at isa pa ay matayog ang bintana sa bandang iyon. The curtains are down. It's thick and heavy kaya wala akong magagawa.

"Aen, Ros, si Adeliza at Minerva umalis ng palasyo", bumalik ako sa kwarto para gisingin ang dalawa.

Ambrosia groaned and continue sleeping. Si Aeneas naman ay bumangon at kunot noo akong tiningan.

"What did you say? Adeliza and Minerva?".

"They went out of the palace. Its late and it's dangerous. We need to follow them and convince to come back", sabi ko.

"It's dangerous out there, Art. Ikaw na ang nagsabi. Let them be. It's their choice", he said heartlessly and went back to sleep.

Mas lalo akong hindi napakali. I have no one to talk to dahil alam kong wala ni isang malapit sa amin ngayon. The bodyguard came to my mind pero agad din namang natigil dahil alam kong nasa malapit lamang sila sa amin kapag lalabas ng palasyo.

I turn on the lamp and read some stories from history books. Ilang oras ang nagdaan ay wala pa rin akong narinig. Ngunit ilang sandali ay narinig kong bumukas ang gate. Sinilip ko sa bintana. Apat na carriage ang pumasok. I wake Ambrosia and Aeneas.

"They are back from hunting. Let's go out and welcome them", sabi ko.

I heard the double door opened too.

"Ipatawag si Melvina. Her daughters are here!", si Lolo na diretso lang ang lakad. Bumati naman ako ngunit hindi niya ako napansin o nakita.

"What happened?", salubong ko kay Alaric.

"Our cousins are attacked by strigose or vampires", sagot niya.

"Death dealers, Ric. I killed it", si Amadeus.

"How did you know?", tanong ni Aphasia.

"I talked to him before he attacked me, too. He accused hunters that killed the love of his life, I don't know what....", Amadeus said.

Napailing ako. "I saw them sneaking out of the palace earlier. I tried to stopped them but they didn't listen. I should have tried harder!", sabi ko. Naiiyak. Hindi ko man close o masyadong kilala si Adeliza at Minerva ay kapamilya ang tingin ko sa kanila. Their deaths are our suffering too.

"ANAK! OH MY GOD! ADELIZA! MINERVA!", Melvina's voices filled the atmosphere. It boomed all over the four corners. "HIJAAAA!",patuloy na sigaw niya as she run towards her daughters dead bodies. May nakatakip na tela doon.
