Cassius Hawthorne POV

Hindi ko maitago ang ngiti ng makita ang kapatid kong kausap si Artemis. I didn't listen to what they're talking about kaya ng makitang hindi naman nag-aaway ang dalawa ay umalis na ako sa hamba ng pintuan.

"I heard what happened to your papa. I'm sorry for your lost", sabi ni Ambrosia sa akin.

I smile at her. "I'm okay. I'll take our revenge anyway", sabi ko.

I feel like I am Nikaus now. All I think is revenge and hate. Gustong-gusto ko nang maghiganti. Vladimir is always one of my enemies.

It's been a week since we trained the Callahan men. Nakapaghanda na kami sa pagsalakay namin sa Sighisoara. Lulusob kami doon ng umaga. So they'll be weak and vulnerable. Sunlight can kill them. Death dealers don't have rings. They fear sunlight. Tanging si Vladimir lang at ang ilang mga kapatid namin ang makakalabas.

Namasyal kami ni Ambrosia sa loob ng lupain ng Callahan. Their palace is surrounded with endless walls. May maliit na garden sila doon kaya naupo kami ni Ambrosia.

As the day go by. I started to like her. She's just like Artemis. Funny and jolly. But Artemis is good as a friend. Ambrosia is different.

Pumitas ako ng bulaklak doon. I inserted it above her ear. Napangiti ako.

"After this. We'll be at peace, finally".

Ngumiti siya. "I hope that peace can bring us a bright future. I don't want to always live as a hunter. I want a simple life where I can do something I love", aniya.

"You'll have that life, Ambrosia. I'll make sure of it".

"If I'll die in this battle. I hope in my next life, we'll meet again".

Mabilis ko siyang niyakap.

"You're supernatural. You can't die and you won't age a bit. And if I'll go first. Promise me that we'll meet again on my next life. Promise me, Cassius".

Tumango ako. I don't want to lose her. I don't want her to die but I have to promise. Because one day. I know I have to lose her. She'll drift away from me. She's not a vampire. And she won't be one because she's a hunter.

"I promise, Ambrosia. We'll meet again".

Aphasia Callahan-Balkan POV

I watched sunset with Lleon at the falls. Pareho kaming nakaupo sa damuhan. He's hugging his knees habang nakasandal naman ako sa balikat niya. I hook my left arm with his right. Pumikit ako at dinama ang masaganang hangin.

"We'll finally be together", sabi ni Lleon sa akin.

"When all of this ends. We'll finally have peace", huminga ako ng malalim. "I love you, Lleon", sabi ko at umayos ng upo.

He turns to face me. He caress my cheek. His eyes meet mine.

"I love you, Aphasia. I'll always love you", he whisper as his eyes drifted on my lips. He moves his face close to mine and capture my lips with a quick and soft kiss. Kumalas siya at namumungay ang kanyang mga mata.

"Damn it. I can't get enough", he kiss me deep. Under the sunset, we made it. I'm giving all of me to him. In this life, he'll be the first and the last man I will always love. If I will be given a chance for another life. I'll give it all to him. I'll choose him over and over again.
