Habang kasama ko sila Alaric sa pakikipag sapalaran sa mga strigoi ay narinig ko sa di kalayuan ang boses ni Artemis. I want to tell Alaric pero mukhang malabo iyon dahil nasa bahay naman sila.

Umatras kami dahil sa dami ng strigoi na papalapit. Artemis voice became cleared. Her voice came from the alley kaya mabilis akong tumakbo papunta doon at hindi na nag-abalang kausapin pa si Alaric tungkol doon.

"ARTEMIS!", sigaw ko. Hindi ko pa siya nahanap but I called her name. Pumasok ako sa liblib na lugar and I saw someone walking towards me. I tried to scream but he gripped on my neck and snatched me out. I passed out.

Nagising lamang ako sa isang lugar. Puro kakahuyan ang naroon. I'm not familiar with the place. Siguro ay malayo na ito sa Alderidge.

May dalawang bampirang lumapit sa akin. The other one is already bloody. Alam kong ito ang lumapit sa akin kanina. Ang nakasunod sa kanya ay isang babae.

"How fun it is to kill a hunter, right?", nakangising sabi niya sa babae. The girl nodded and smirks.

"Let me go!", matigas na sabi ko.

"Oh! Brave. Not like the one I've feed on earlier", he laugh.

He feed? Kanino? Is it Artemis?

Mas lalong umusbong ang galit sa aking puso. He feed on Artemis. He should pay for it.

Nakatali ang aking kamay at paa. Vampires are like humans, huh? Well, they think I'm like a normal vampire hunter, they're wrong. I twisted my wrist at napigtas ang tali doon. Iyong mga paa ko nalang ang nakatali ngayon. I tried to remove them pero nakita nila ako.

"Want to remove them? Go ahead and run. We'll hunt you down", aniya. "Run!".

Mabilis kong tinaggal ang tali sa aking mga paa and run as fast as I could. I used my supernatural speed but it's useless because I can't see in the dark while vampires can. Muntik na akong mabangga sa malaking punong kahoy ng may humablot sa akin. I screamed pero mabilis niyang tinabunan ang aking bibig. Nilagay niya ang hintuturo sa kanyang labi as a sign that I should shut up.

I tried to calm down and look at his eyes. It's dark and mesmerizing. It reflects the light of the moon. His face moves and that's when I saw his perfect jaw. He titled his head and look at something behind me.

"Stay here and don't move", he said in baritone voice. Hindi ko alam kong ano ang meron sa boses niya. He didn't compelled me. It's just his voice, his words that I want to obey. I don't know him but somehow I feel safe.

"You're looking for a girl?", narinig kong sabi niya sa dalawang papalapit. I figure out he's talking to the vampires who kidnapped me.

"Who are you? You don't know us", the man laugh. "And lakas ng loob mong makipag-usap sa amin".

"You want to get the girl? You get through me", mayabang na sabi ng lalaking kausap ko kanina.

Who is he? Alam ba niya na bampira ang kaharap niya? Ang yabang ah?

"We have another food", the girl vampire laugh and attacked my man.

My man? Well, I don't know his name. I should call him that way.

Pero sa isang iglap ay pumasaere ang babae at tumama ito sa kahoy. She is pinned there with a sharp tree branch in her chest.

The male vampire attacked my man again. Mabilis ang kanilang galaw at halos maduling ako sa kakatingin sa kanila. In one move, my man captured the male vampire. Nahawakan niya ito sa leeg.
