chapter 72

We arrived at mcdonalds and decided to go through the drive thru.

The car ride was silent mostly. I didnt know if jaden heard the arguement me and josh had or what so I just pretended like nothing happened.

"Can I please get 2x 10 pack chicken nugget combo with a large frozen coke" jaden said to the speaker.

I smiled, he remembers my order.

We were waiting for our food in the drive thru and it was quiet.

"So, what's wrong" jaden asked breaking the silence.

"What do you mean" I acted confused.

"You have been silent the whole ride" he pointed out.

"Oh" I said and looked down

"So what happened" he asked once again

"You have enough of your own problems" I said looking over at him

"Its okay, it distracts me" he reassured me.

"Okay, if your sure" I said.

He nodded.

"Well, me and josh had a fight. I dont know why but he seems so jealous of you when we are literally just bestfriends, I would never cheat on him anyways, how could he think I would, Im just so mad, but I also dont want him to be mad at me but-" I started rambling.

"Okay okay okay, calm down" jaden said interrupting me.

"Sorry" I said fiddling with my fingers.

"So josh is jealous, and you dont know why" he clarified.

"Yes" I said nodding.

"Well technically, you did break up because of me" he pointed out.

"Oh right" I said nervously.

"But hes probably just overthinking" he smiled.

"I hope" I said.

"It will be okay, when you get home he will probably have forgotten about the arguement" jaden said which made me smile.

"Your right" I said and we drove back to the sway house.

We listened to music on the way back.

I waltzed in to the house and saw josh sitting on the couch.

I walked up to him and sat down.

"Hey" I smiled kissing him on the cheek.

He just looked at me and nodded.

"What?" I said confused.

"Nothing" he shook his head.

"Okay?" I questioned.

And then I realised.

"Are you still mad" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess" he said.

I got up. And stood there.

"Really?" I said shocked

He nodded yes.

"Why, I dont get it" I said confused.

"Nessa, obviously you dont" he replied. 

I just stared at him confused.

"I dont know what you want me to do then" I said unsure.

"I dont know nessa, but you arent even trying to make it better" he said.
