I bent down checking the salmon that was in the oven then stirred the rice I had going on the stove. Just then the baby started crying again for the hundredth time today. I sighed going to get her.

"It's okay mamas." I wipe the tears from her face.

"Mommy!" Kody yelled for the hundredth time today. I raised my shirt letting the baby latch onto my breast. She was sucking a little too hard for my liking making me wince in pain.

"Calm down." I rubbed her head going into Kodys room. He was laying upside down in his bed. "How can I help you little one?"

"Can you play with me?"

"Kody, I have to cook and I'm feeding your sister."

"Daddy won't wake up." He said causing me to sigh. Dave has been in been all day and I mean all day. Hasn't moved one inch. I know he had clients today but I guess he canceled. Ever since that day with his mom, he's shut down completely.

I know about everything and it's crazy to me. Like how could you go on for years letting your child think someone else was his father all because you were scared to speak. I understand it's hard but you gotta say something. She just doesn't understand if she would have told Dave this a long time ago, he would've handled it. But she was protecting him for what? It has to be more to the story than she saying.

I'm thankful that man is dead because I don't need that in my life. I feel he would have caused a lot of hell. I'm more thankful that Dave and Kody are not brothers. My heart fell to my ass just from that thought.

I'm already dealing with the fact that Ella is his sister. Like how does that even happen? And we had sex before, I feel so disgusted with myself.

"Something's burning." Kody said snapping me out of my thoughts. I cursed out loud making the baby jump slightly. I sped walked to the kitchen cutting off the stove and removing the pot putting it to the side. Nothing burned the water was just overflowing.

I laid Konani on my should patting her back while walking around the kitchen. I was determined to get her to go to sleep. She has been up all day without a nap and it's working my nerves. She finally fell asleep and I put her in crib returning to the kitchen fixing the boys a plate. I sat Kody down at the table and turned on the tv for him.

Sitting Dave's plate on the nightstand I climbed on top of him. He laid completely still keeping eyes closed.

"Babe." I mumbled into his neck. That caused a reaction because he turned his head to the side. "Dave wake up. I let you sleep all day while I handled everything. You need to eat something."

"I'm not hungry." His raspy voice sent a slight chill down my back.

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not."
