Phillippians 3:7-11
Although PAUL has written more than half of the new testament, He still 'wanted to know christ'.
To I heart god, Requires a heart captivated with Jesus
1)Paul's gains
-Born to the tribe of Benjamin
-Circumcised on the eighth day
-Studied under Gameliel
-Hebrew of hebrews
-Pharisee
-Zealous
-Blameless
Paul considered all these gains to be a loss because He was radically transformed. Acts 9:3-6
He surrendered all these because He found a greater worth in Jesus.
Paul loved GOD because his heart was captivated by GOD
Every christian practice must be fuelled by a heart captivated by Christ
-TAWG -love and know Jesus more through the word
-Prayer - Commune with Jesus where we just delight to be with Jesus.
-reminds us of his ultimate display of love
