Sorry I couldn't update recently. I had Common Test 2 and loads of reversion. But, I hope you did your own TAWG. You can't always rely on me:P But I have a few verses during my TAWG you guys should read. I will update it in the next update. Anyways, this is my church sermon, preached by Pastor Melvin.
Galations 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at a proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Let us not be weary in doing good
Doing good
- Paul told the Galations to do good by living a life in step with the holy spirit.
Love your neighbours as you love yourself to do good. Do not give up on doing good. Don't despise fellow believers who have sinned, but accept them and help change them for the better. Help them renew themselves in God. Be responsible by doing good. Another way of doing good is serving in church and saving your friends.
Weary
- Discouraged, worthless
- We can become discouraged in what we are doing and feel that everything is worthless.
Do not feel discouraged in doing good. One reason why is because we want things to come instantly, and we cannot wait, and determine what is to happen. We are unsure of weather we will succeed or not, so we are discouraged from doing good. Sometimes, we keep failing, saying that we will fail the next time, not making any effort
For at a proper time we will reap a harvest
Proper time
- Kairos - God's time
- It's the opportune time, the fullness of time
God's time can never be predicted, so we must always be ready.
To experience a harvest and success, we need to TRUST in God and in his perfect timing!
The only way is to TRUST in God. Paul says one way is to not give up.
If we dj not give up
we need to persevere
- James 1:12
Blessed is the one who persevered under trial because having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord hadms promised to those who love him.
- We annoy be pessimistic, but persevere
We need to support one another
- Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
We need to rember why
- Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heaven ward in Christ Jesus
What we get today is not definate in the final run.
