Saturday is game day. When I enter the Great Hall early in the morning, almost all tables are occupied. I sit down beside Evelyn and Anna. Kieran, who is sitting opposite the two girls, leans forward and gestures to the parchment in front of him.

"Hey, Elena, would you like to make a bet? We," he points to himself and Evelyn, "think Slytherin is going to win today."

"Why would you think that?" I ask and pour myself a cup of tea, "I heard Gryffindor has beaten Slytherin every match since Potter became their Seeker."

Kieran looks over to the Gryffindor table and I follow his gaze.

"Gryffindor has a new Keeper, Ron Weasley, and a new captain. She barely has any experience with leading a team and is still figuring out how to train them. I overheard a sixth-year student saying that Weasley can't even catch a Quaffle during practice – let alone stop one in a match."

Both Kieran and Evelyn snicker. I can see Ron nervously pushing around the food on his plate. As I study the rest of the Gryffindor team, Diana sits down opposite me. She is wearing her Ravenclaw sweater but has a Gryffindor scarf wrapped around her neck. Today, her hair is a mix of blue and red.

"Where did you get that?" I ask, pointing at the red scarf. The Headgirl smiles and explains: "Katie gave me hers, because I am supporting Gryffindor in this match."

The girl pointedly ignores the looks Evelyn and Anna send her as she grabs the plate with scrambled eggs.

"Would you like to bet on Gryffindor winning, then?" Kieran asks hopefully.

Diana shakes her head, "As Headgirl, I should not make bets. Sorry, Stanton. Maybe Elena would like to make one?"

I shake my head before Kieran can ask me again. I quickly down my tea, burning my tongue slightly, before standing up. I look at the Ravenclaws, "I'll see you at the pitch. Save me a spot?"

The three nod and I head over to the Gryffindor table where I saw Fred, George, and Lee sitting.

"Elena! Good to see you!" George smiles and waves at me. I sit down next to Lee and ask Fred: "Do you have a scarf for me? I need to support my boyfriend's team in some way, right?"

The two other boys cheer as Fred removes his scarf and wraps it around my neck before pressing a kiss on my lips.

"Ron seems nervous," I say, turning to where the youngest Weasley son is sitting with Harry.

"The trainings didn't go as he planned," George answers before looking over at the Ravenclaw table, "I saw Roger carrying a clipboard. Is he going to take notes?"

"Roger really wants to win this year. He has everything planned out and yes, that involves taking notes about the other house teams."

"You are never going to beat us," Fred chuckles and George nods heavily to back up his brother. I raise an eyebrow and looks at the two Beaters. "Oh, and what makes you think that?"

Lee snickers but stops when the twins glare at him.

"We're way better than the Ravenclaw team," George brags, "Even with Ron."

"Well, I would like to see you try beating us this year. Roger has been forcing us to train really hard," I smile at George, snatching a piece of bacon from Fred's plate which earns me an 'I was eating that'.

A mischievous smile appears on George's face and he leans forwards, "Would you like to make a little bet, Dubos?"

Lee cheers and beside me, Fred smirks. I look at my boyfriend before turning back to George and nod, "That sounds like an excellent idea, Weasley."
