"Oh my god I cannot believe its already July!! Soon it will be August 11th and we're going back to school!" Alyssa squeled. "I know right? And then we'll be Sophmores!!" I screamed. We both laughed and I turned up my stereo which blasted "Alright" by Pitbull. We both danced crazily to the upbeat song and laughed. I heard a light knock on the door and my mom barged in. "Hey girls wanna have some sandwiches? I made some for the Bale's but they're out today." My mom offered. Me and Alyssa looked at eachother and she shrugged. "Ok we'll be right down!" I said and slammed the door in her face. Alyssa gathered her stuff and we went downstairs to see PB&J's stacked neatly into a pyramid. My mom popped open the puffy Cheeto's and I picked a sandwich. "Thanks mom." I said and bit into my sandwich. "Not a problem! Hey has Alyssa met the neighbors?" She asked. "No I havent." Alyssa said, throwing me a look. I smiled sheepishly and concentrated on my PB&J. "Hon you should invite Alyssa to sleepover tonight because we're gonna see them tonight! It would be wonderful!" My mom exclaimed and I nodded a fake nod. To be honest, I didnt want Alyssa to meet Trent. I'd been wanting to get to know him better but without her prettiness taking over!! He'd probably be dazzled by her and forget all about me..."Uhh I guess. Call your parents Aly." I said and she dialed a few numbers. "Hey mami! Can I sleepover at Spencers tonight? Thanks!" She pressed End and smiled. "I can!!" She said excitedly and I faked happiness. But really I was dreading it. Spencer Gregory, prepare for you hope of having Trent to shatter.

We all were getting ready to go next door. Alyssa had a short skirt, low cut shirt, perfect makeup, and was like a model!! I had skinny jeans, a big t-shirt that hung to my knees, black convese and my hair hanging loose past my shoulders. "Ok girls lets go!!" My mom said and we walked over. "Alyssa did you really have to wear that outfit?" I whispered. "Why?" She whispered back. "Because I already claimed him!" I whispered even lower. "I know you have! This is just an outfit I've been dying to wear!" She said and Laura answered the door before I could reply to Alyssa. I was mad at her! She knew I really liked him but ofcourse thats an "outfit shes been dying to wear" or whatever!!! "Oh hello everyone! And whos the knew girl?" Laura asked. "This is my friend Alyssa. She was sleeping over tonight and I hope you dont mind her coming over too." I explained. "Oh thats fine!! Come in! We're having chicken nuggets and mac n cheese if you dont mind but Sophie picked our dinner tonight!" She said and we all laughed. Sophie was so cute!! She was only 4 or so and was just innocent! As soon as my eyes landed on Trent, I smiled. "Hey Trent." I said shyly and he murmered a "Hey" back. My heart dropped. Just last night we were talking but I guess thats over..."Hi I'm Alyssa! You are?" She confidently asked Trent. "I'm Trent." He mumbled and she pressed on. "So how old are you?" She asked. "Sixteen." He answered, rolling his eyes. "I'm sixteen as well...what school are you going to inroll in?" She asked and I could see he was getting agitated. "Aly how about you stop with the questions!! He doesnt look in the mood." I whispered, pulling her aside. "Oh...alright!" She said, a bright smile plastered on her face. She went to go bug Sophie instead. "I'm sorry about Alyssa. Shes a little bit more talkative then you are." I said and I almost killed myself. A little bit more talkative then you?! Was I insulting him?! UGH!! "Yaa she seems like that. I like you more. You don't bug me." He said and my heart almost burst. He liked me?! I guess I haven't screwed it up yet! He then got up and walked outside. I didn't want to bother him but oh did I want to still talk to him!! Maybe I should? Would I look too desperate? Ahh I guess I should atleast try to talk to him!!

I followed him and looked out the window and gasped. He had a CIGARETTE!! Oh my god he was a bad boy!! Or maybe he just smoked and was just quiet and nice and NOT a bad boy!! I walked back to the couch and sat down. What the...? What did I just see? Was I kidding myself by thinking he wasnt bad? AHH I HATE BEING A TEEN!! "Its dinner time!" Laura called out. Did Laura know?! What if she was cool with it?! I sat down by Alyssa and saw an empty space next to me. Minute later, Trent came back inside and sat down. I smiled timidly at him and he made the effort to smile back. Well he couldn't be that bad because hes quiet!! "Pass the mac n cheese please!" Sophie called out and I did as she said. I quietly ate my dinner slowly. Alyssa and my mom chatted ecstatically with the Bale's but me and Trent kept silent. After dinner we said our goodbyes and walked home.
