Chapter 10

Emma's P.O.V.

I woke up to some one sitting on me. "Ugg get off of me" I say shoving the body on the floor. "Owe" I hear the familiar voice of my boyfriend say. "Hey drummer boy" I say sitting up and getting my hair out of my face. He just smiles at me and takes a picture. "You jerk" I scream throwing a pillow at him. I get out of my bed and run out of my room dodging the pillow that Ashton threw back at me. I go into the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth. Then I put on deodorant and perfume so I don't smell bad and leave the bathroom.  I walk into the living room to find Maddie sitting on Ashton's lap with her tongue shoved down his throat. "How could you" I scream. Maddie just pulled away and smirked. "Oh Emma you really thought some one would love you. You naïve little girl" Maddie said not even trying to get off Ashton's lap. I look at Ashton waiting for him to say some thing. Tears threatening to spill. He gets Maddie off his lap and walks over to me. "Emma I didn't mean it she came on to me" He said. I just ran away. "Emma wait" He yelled. I just kept running. I run across town and up the steps to Dawn's house. I knock on the door waiting for her to open up. "Emma what's wrong" Dawn's mom Sara asks when she opened the door. "Nothing I just need to talk to Dawn. Is she here" I ask. "She's in her room sweetheart" Her mom said. "Okay thank you" I said walking into the house and walk into Dawn's room and she looks up at me. "What's wrong" She asked. I closed her bedroom door and sat on her bed. "AshtonwokemeupandIwenttothebathroomtogetreadyforthedayandIwalkintothelivingroomandisawmaddiesittingonhislapwithhertonguedownthisthroatandhedidnothingtostopher"  I cried using one breath. "Wow calm down and slow down." Dawn said. "Okay" I say taking a deep breath before starting over. "Ashton woke me up and after I went to the bathroom and got ready for the day I went into the living room and I saw Maddie with her tongue down Ashton's throat and he did nothing to stop her" I cry again. Dawn just engulfs me in a hug. "its okay" She said. "And to make things worse she said 'you thought someone would love you. you naïve girl'" I say crying harder. " After that I just left and came here."  I say. "I'll take you home and get them out okay." Dawn said standing up. I follow her lead and leave the room I walk right outside and to her car. "You ran all the way here without shoes." Dawn scolds. I just shrug and get into her car. We drive to my house in silence. When we get there I get out and walk up to the door. I walk right into my house, and to the bathroom. I've already given up the hope that my parents are coming back from there so called 'business' trip. I pull off my pants and grab a razor blade. Never thought I would cut again but I guess I was wrong. Wrong about a lot of things apparently. I grab the first aid kit and clean the cuts. I wrap a bandage around my leg and then put my fuzzy shorts back on. I clean up the blood off the sink and blade before putting the blade and first aid kit back. I walk out of the bathroom wile fixing the bottom if my shorts to hide the bandage. "You started cutting again didn't you" Dawn said as soon as I walked into the kitchen. I just nodded and sat down at the island. "You shouldn't do that" Dawn said. "Why not. I mean your gonna leave me soon and I'll be alone with my blades" I say resting my head in my arms. "Don't you dare say that." Dawn screamed. I just stand up and walk into the living room. I hear some one knock on the door and then Dawn screaming. "Get out of here. You've done enough damage. Just leave" I couldn't hear the other person. Dawn walks into the living room and puts on a movie. "Who was that" I ask. "Ashton" She replied. "Oh" was all I said then another knock on the door. I get up to answer it. "I got it" Dawn said. "No its fine. I have to at least hear him out" I say. I answer the door and I'm shocked to see Michael standing there. His messy hair and blood shot eyes tell me he's been crying. I guess I'm not the only one that lost a friend and love today. "Hey" I say. "Hi" He said. "Wanna come in" I offer. "No I'm fine. I don't even know why I came here" He said. "Well come inside anyways. Join the heartbroken and betrayed club" I say moving out of the way. He walks inside and  I lead him to the living room. "Hey Michael" Dawn says when he walks in. "Hey Dawn" he smiles. I sit down on the couch with Michael beside me. 'What happened to your leg?" He asked his voice laced with concern. "Nothing" I said covering up the bandage. "Its not nothing she cut because of your jerk of a  friend" Dawn said rather rudely. "Trust me when I say, He may be a band member but he is not my friend" Michael snaps back at her. I cant handle it. I just get up and go into my room.  Michael shortly follows. "Its okay I know what your going threw". "It hurts a lot" I say. "I know" He walks over and hugs me. I gratefully accept. Next thing I know were kissing. I feel like I'm cheating on Ashton but then I quickly remember what he did to me. We pulled away shortly after. "Sorry" Michael said. "Don't worry about it." I smile

DUN DUN DUUUNNNNN

Sorry for not sticking with the scedual. I forgot. then had writers block. Then a giant snowstorm happened so I was outside playing in the snow.
