the sixth poem, to myself

the sixth poem,
to myself,
the child with too much power

i am too powerful.
not in a way that is arrogant,
but in a way that is d a n g e r o u s.

i wish someone
would end it a l l,

but i am not
so easily k i l l e d.

try, and the void takes over.
it saves me when
i don't want to be s a v e d.

there were times
when i enjoyed
such p o w e r,

but now i do nothing
but resent it, for it
has taken away my f r e e d o m.

the only one who
i trusted with such power
could not end it for m e.

and so i am in the void.
but i sense my time coming
to an e n d.

and so i will return to
end it for the one
who could not end it
for m e.

loki laufeyson,
i am coming for you.

whether that is for
you to die,
or for me to d i e.

death is one thing
that i have become attuned to
within the v o i d.

and i sense it all around me
whenever i think of y o u.

loki laufeyson,
use this time to h i d e.

i beg.
