I felt my breath catch.

Or was I just to much of a coward to accept it...

My heart began to soar. Just a look into those emerald eyes makes me fall deeper in love with her.
All of a sudden, I felt my heart sink to my feet.
Brandon.
Oh no...

I wasn't supposed to be with her!
I don't want history to repeat itself!
It can't....
But Brandon already fell for her...

She hugged me tight.
"Thank you.. Ki..."
I do love her...
"N-no problem.." I mumble in response.
Feather then looked at me.
"You're blushing." She stated.
I turned sharply, trying to hide my face.
I cleared my throat.
"Shouldn't we get you home?" I ask.
"Wait!" Smador said, running over to the furnace. He picked up a pair of boots he left and the clothes Sebastian made for Feather.
He rushed over to us.
"You forgot about these!" He said, waving the clothing and boots.
Feather turned around.
"Oh! Yeah! Sorry! Last night I just collapsed.... I didn't put on the clothes or the boots........ That sounded really weird...." Feather said apologetically.

Feather looked around the room.
"I think I'm just going to put on the boots for now..." Feather said, sheepishly.
She quickly slipped on the metal boots.
