Tsukishima Kei[Child AU!!]

Dino Nerd

   "Kei-chan what's this one??" You point to the large plush dinosaur in the corner of your friends room, he had so many dinosaurs and he decided to give you a little lesson.

    "Thats a T-rex (Y/n), I would have thought you would have known that at least." You turn to face him and give a pouty face. 

     "Well sorry if I'm not a dino nerd at only 7 years old!" This irked Kei a little but he let it slid, well, more of deciding to tease you back. "No, you're just Stupid (Y/n)!" 

     You gasped at teared up a bit-children really couldn't stand being called the littlest things can they?- you got on the ground, crying a tad bit, "I'm not stupid!" 

     Kei saw that you were hurt by the comment, feeling guilty. He walked to you and gave you a hug with his tiny arms, "...sorry (y/n)...you're not stupid." You perked up immediately, hugging him tightly. 

     "So you agree you're a dinosaur nerd?" You stuck your tongue out at him, causing his normal 100% done expression appear once again. He just 'tched' at you and returned to reading his dinosaur book. You walked around the room, observing the dinosaur figurines. Out of no where, two on his shelf caught your eye. 

    "Kei! Kei! What are these two??" He got up and walked to you, "Those two are my favorite. One is called a Kentrosaurus, the other is a Stegosaurus. They were apparently like best friends, they interacted with each other a lot more than others." You smiled brightly,

     "I probably won't remember those names so i will call them the Kei and (y/n) dinosaurs! They're like us, best friends forever and always!" You grab his hand, causing a dark blush spread on his cheeks, he just nodded quietly. Secretly liking the idea~

*10 years later [highschool]*

       After school you were looking for a certain tall volleyball player-who just happened to be your boyfriend. Yes, you were dating your stubborn, smartass best friend. You couldn't find him in any classrooms so you checked the library, walking to the animal section. You knew the nerd to well.

      There he was, in the dinosaur section. "Of course~" You giggled in your head. You came up behind him, hugging him from behind. He used to be so shy about contact, he would tense just holding hands but he got used to it, he enjoyed it very much actually-like he would actually tell you that though. 

      He enjoyed the warmth your tiny-in comparison- body brought, felt like home to him. If he had a bad day he would just hold you sometimes, your 'smell' relaxed him very much. And you never minded, you loved when he would get touchy with you. 

     "How'd I know you would be here?" You smiled, "I dunno, maybe you're a witch like I've always assumed." You punched his back slightly, "Kidding, kidding." You chuckle, stepping by his side, looking at the book in his hands.

      On the page was a Kentrosaurus and a Stegosaurus, you smiled, somehow remembering the memory from when you were a child. "I remember those!! I named them the Kei and (y/n) dinosaurs!" Kei nodded, a slight and rare smile crossing his face. 

     "I also remember the giant blush that was on your face, you looked so cute like that!" Kei looked slightly embarrassed, "Whatever..." He whispered. You laughed, grabbing his hand and started pulling. "Lets go! Im tired and hungry." He put the book back quickly, you were to strong for your own good sometimes. You finally got him outside, he sighed well walked closer to you. He gripped your hand a little better, "I wasn't finished you know."

      "You'll be fine~ You have plenty of books back at your house, you dino nerd." He gave you a smirk, 

     "I may be a nerd, but I'm your nerd." He kissed the top of your head, now it was finally your turn to be embarrassed~
