(After Life AU!!) Hinata Shouyou

Great Father

*[SHORT AU!!]*

   "Please...Please..." You whisper as you clutch the pregnancy test. You had missed your period this month and panicked. You didn't think you or Hinata might be ready for a baby. Of course, you wouldn't mind having one...but Hinata...you weren't so sure.

    After being married for a year, he would always shy away from the baby discussion. He normally would just quickly brush off the question but some days...well, he would be a babbling mess, deep red blush, sometimes even a nose bleed.

    You look down at the test...positive. Freaking positive..."What am I going to do?" You panicked inside. You knew Hinata would flip, worry gathered in your head. "Will he still love me?"

     "Snap out of it (f/n)!" You slap your cheeks as you gather up the courage to tell him. Of course, that would have to wait since he was at work. 

      You decided to make him his favorite food for dinner to go with the news, "Hopefully this will make it better..."

     "(f/n)-chan! I'm home!" Hinatas' voice rang through the halls as nervousness filled your stomach. 

     "Hi Shouyou! How was your day?" You hugged him and tried to act normal. 

      "Fine, tiring though! Did you cook dinner?" You chuckled as he drooled a little at the smell of his favorite food.

      "Yes! All of your favorite foods, sit down; eat!" He followed you to the table and dug in. The whole time he could tell something was wrong with you. You kept messing with the hem of your shirt.

      "(f/n)-chan? Is anything wrong?" He asked, worry in his eyes. You looked at him and blushed.

     "Y-Yeah everything's f-fine!" He got a surprisingly serious look on his face, "(f/n)-chan, tell me whats wrong...I can tell somethings bothering you." Your heart started pounding in your chest; feeling like it would explode.

      "W-well..... I'm pregnant." You say quickly and quietly but you could tell he heard when a shocked expression crossed his face.

      "R-Really?" You nodded, a tear rolled down your cheek. "Im sorry, I understand if you don't love me anymore." He stood up from the table and walked towards you. You felt his arms wrap around you.

     "I love you (f/n)-chan...don't ever think I don't. I'm actually happy tour pregnant." You looked at him shocked, "R-really?!" He nodded and smiled, a blush spreading across his face.

      "Then why would you always push the conversation away? I thought you didn't want a kid." He looked a little hesitant.

      "I'm nervous that I won't be a good father..." You stood upland hugged him back, you whispered in his ear,

       "I know you'll be a great father~"
