'Good morning, Al.' I just received a text from Alexander when I open my eyes in the morning. That just made my day.

'Good morning, Al.' I copy.

He texts me every morning and I can't help but fall for his sweetness.

"Somebody's in a good mood this morning," just when I thought the week is gonna be perfect, Mark joins me in the dining room for breakfast on a Friday morning.

"You're early today," I say. Usually, during the weekdays, he'd still be sleeping when I leave the apartment and still out when I come home.

"Yup. I'll drive you to work."

What did he just say? Did I hear him right? Did he just say he's gonna drive me to work? Wow....that's a first.

I just stare at him, blink two times, and continue to stare.

"What?" He asks, like it's just a normal thing he does.

Another blink.

"If you don't want to, then fine," he says, putting food in his mouth, "I was gonna pass by your workplace anyway. But, since you don't..."

"No. I do." I cut him off. Who doesn't want a free ride. "Where are you going anyway?"

"I have an audition."

"Audition?" I don't even fuckin' know what he does.

"Yeah. The group and I."

"For what?"

"Just."

____

"So, who was that guy last time?" He asks on our way to work. I can't help but stare at how cool he looks today. He has this ripped black pants on and black shirt inside a leather jacket. His hair is pulled back and I can clearly see the features of his face.

"Date," I simply answer, stealing glances his way.

"You went on a date? I thought you were still moping about that jerk, Ryan." He chuckles.

Actually, I haven't thought of him since that date. My mind was full of Al. I don't notice a smile plastered on my face...or is it a grin?

"Hey..." he pinches my cheek, "stop daydreaming."

"Ouch," I rub my cheek. Then go back to thinking about that guy. "Isn't he just dreamy?"

"What?" He fakes a cough. "You call that dreamy? He's just tall."

"Tall, and handsome, and a gentleman," I tell him, turning my face, "Unlike you," I add under my breath.

"Pfft..." He steps on the gas and we speed forward.

"Mark," I shout at him and hit his shoulder as he immediately steps on the breaks, making me jerk forward in my seat. "Fuck!"

He chuckles. "Sorry!" Then, "what time would you get off?"

"Five," I answer without looking at him, still pissed.

"I'll come get you."

"No need. He's picking me up." Since he's going to watch me perform tonight, he offered to pick me up.

He goes silent. He stays like that until we get to my stop.

"Thanks," I just tell him. He doesn't even look at me. He just speeds off after I close the door behind me. "What a jerk." I pout.

_____

As I step out of the building after work, I see a familiar car parked in front.

"I thought he was gonna pick you up?" Mark has a smirk on his face.
