- Sapphire Hunting is an ongoing adventure/science fantasy about a boy called James, who's a college student looking to 'make a name for himself' as he goes through life. He's always looking to the bright side, but then he finds many struggles (including the unexpected) are ready to meet him on the battlefield.

In some sentences the flow is a little disrupted, but other sentences flow beautifully, so it's not really a big issue. There are a lot short sentences, but it's not much of a problem because it makes the story more snappy and jagged, which keeps the reader alive and listening in. You might want to consider using more semi-colons (;), though - for places where you want to join two sentences together without sounding like they need to be apart.
Also, the part names are quite catchy, snappy, and intriguing!
Review -
The opening is descriptively catching, and quite beautiful, despite being mysterious and somewhat eerie. Within the first four paragraphs of the first part, the relationship between Michael and James is already as clear as day, which is great because it shows the reader what they're in for, and gives a few hints as to what to expect. The writing style is entertaining with a great use and range of vocabulary, especially in one tense that doesn't change. The end of part one completely alludes to the bigger picture, and makes the second part all the more needed to be read, and the story follows suit the way through. 'Sapphire Hunting' is a great, thrilling, story that would be best read on a cold winter's night, but would be equally enjoyed at any other time, because it's such a good book, with vocabulary shining through in every sentence.
