JACE

I'm shaking. I can't barely stand up and to book a flight. I don't know what's happening but all I can see and hear are sirens and people panicking. It was immediately cut off when Jon caught the camera man, but I didn't failed to see a red head getting pulled up into the carrier.

"Jace!!" Matilda is practically shaking me right now. What the hell just happened? I asked myself.

"Jace!!!!" This time Matilda slapped me. I gauged and looked at her, she has tears.

"What the hell Jace. Don't just sit there! We are leaving..." She tells me, pulling me up. But I stopped her.

"No. I'm not..." I tell her. She gaped and shook her head.

"I can't believe you. Feel free to pack and leave, I want you to get out of my place Jace..." She tells me angrily.

"I can't believe you.. Clary's been shot. She's been shot!" She yelled at me.

"We don't know that..." I murmured.

"I'm calling Celine..." She says. I groaned.

"No, I'm still not going Matilda. If that means I need to leave your place, I'm leaving. I'm not going back to New York!" By that I left and grabbed my keys.

I've been walking for quite sometime now, I can't actually believe what just happened. What just happened? I'm still asking myself. Is Clary the one who've been shot? I bite my lip so hard that I tasted the blood. I need a drink.

It was past ten in the evening when I arrived at Matilda's place, she's there standing with her phone on her ear. She looks antsy and worried. I bet she's talking to Mom.

"I'll call you as soon as we landed..." She says the moment she saw me.

"Pack up, we're leaving. Clary's in the hospital..." She tells me. I can't argue with her anymore with that look of hers and to be honest I'm worried.

CLARY

It all happens so fast that I barely knew what really just happened. The last thing I saw was sirens, brother Jon and Bass was kneeling right beside me looking worried. My mom whom I don't know where.

I groaned when I felt the pain from my lower hip. I struggled opening my eye, and the first thing I saw is white light. I'm in a hospital. I shifted and Jon came rushing to my side.

"Clary, are you alright?" He says with a low tone. I blinked taking a good look of my surrounding. I smile a little and began to shift. Sitting right up, I halted.

"Jon....." I said his name with such worry. He looks at me frantically.

"What is it?"

"Where are my babies?" I ask him with my teary eyes. He breaths in and breaths out.

"He's fine Clary..." He tells me as he cupped my face to calm me down. But I didn't fail hearing his exact words. 'He's' only He. Singular.

"What do you mean, He?" His facial expression changed into something bad. I guess he thought that I won't get that. And those words just slipped out his mouth.

"You were out for a day, Clary. You still need to rest." He tells me. I gape, I can't believe he's changing the subject.

I was about to argue when Bass and Mom came in with fruits and some papers on hand. They looked shock at me first then they came running giving me a hug.

"Mom!! What does Jon means?" I ask as soon as she pulls away, Bass glared at Jon. It's like they're keeping something from me.

"Okay, but first, you need to calm yourself..." Mom tells me.
