Chapter 45:

CLARY

I woke up today in a very good mood, now that the secrets are out of the bag. I got nothing to hide with Jace anymore, of course, I still need to tell Will and the others especially Tessa, she would freak out if she finds out from someone. I groaned as I sat up, but being immediately pulled down. Right, Jace stayed the night like he always does. I smiled facing him.

"Good morning..." I say. He opened his eyes, flashing me his genuine smile.

"Good morning, love..." He says in his hoarse sexy morning voice. I gave him a quick peck on the lips and stood up. He groans like he's missing something. I let out a chuckle and went to my en-suite, need to pee so bad. As I was sitting Jace walks in, I yelped in surprise. We've been together for like a month now and still I'm not used on walking on me while I'm using the bathroom well except if I'm taking a bath. Jace chuckled looking at me.

"By the Angel, Jace," I say, standing up real quick keeping it together.

"Love, I'd already seen you naked..." Jace says, smirking at me whilst he leans on the counter.

"I know..." I say simply.

"You're cute when you blush..." Jace says, taking steps towards me. I looked up to him bringing his lips to mine.

"I'm going to prepare some breakfast, then Nathan and I will fetch Tessa..." I say as I pull away. Jace frowned.

"Hey, Nathan and I will just grab some coffee before going to school like we always do, but I need to go to Tessa first. You know, to tell her and Will about the streets. I'm sure Raphael would be pissed if he sees me at school I don't want Tessa to know it from him..." I say, cupping Jace's face.

"Right, like you always do..." Jace says, full of sarcasm. I sighed.

"I love you, you know that right?" I say. Jace sighed closing his eyes, opening it looking at me.

"I love you too..." He says. I smiled.

"Now care to accompany me to prepare some breakfast?" I asked.

" Alright." He simply says. I don't really know why Jace and Nathan never get along.

After eating breakfast and taking a bath with Jace. Getting dressed into a simple white tee, ripped jeans, ankle booties, fixing my hair and applying some light makeup.

"Hey, I'm leaving." I say as I go downstairs with my stuff. I already told them earlier when we were eating our breakfast about riding with Nathan and going to Tessa's.

"See you at school Clare-bear..." Jon says waving at me. I smiled at them. I walked towards Jace to give him a quick kiss on the lips and left.

"Oh and Jace can you do me a favor?" I asked. He raised his eyebrows on me.

"Can you pack some gym clothes for me?" I asked nicely. This is the first time I asked Jace a favor, and I guess this will be the first time he'll get to see my whole closet even though he lives here he didn't bother to ransack my closet. I smiled.

"Of course..." He says. By that I left.

As I left the building I already saw Nathan leaning on his hood holding two cups of coffee, I smiled walking towards him, grabbing the cup.

"What's up?" He asked me. Flashing me his gorgeous smile.

"Well since the day you left me, plenty of things changed. Even though we talked a lot. There're some things that you didn't know, actually everyone doesn't know about it, only Jon and Simon. Then Izzy and Alec finds out." I say whilst drinking my coffee.
