So I decided to skip their Paris getaway. Let's just say they had a lot of sex and fun. They never argued and talked about their problem.
I decided also that I might not do the second book. Instead, I'm just going to continue this book far too long as I can.

Days passed since Clary and Jace left for their Paris vacation, this is the first time that Clary spent her New Year without her family. But then again Jace is Family. I just hope Jace would do it, even though it isn't the greatest idea. I don't mind though, but it will be the best and easiest way out of it. I know Valentine, even though he hates Jace, he can't stand the thought of her daughter ending up pregnant without the real father. His heart will soften if that happens. Unless he really gone mad.
Even though Nathan and Clary are planning something, it will take them months or years for Valentine to trust them and I don't think Jace will still be there hanging. I know he loves my daughter so much, but everyone has a limit. Even though he said it at first that he'll stay no matter what, I can see it already on his face that he's about to give up, I don't blame him, though, it was tough and rough. And seeing Celine stressing out each day, knowing that her son is feeling the same way like she did, she's devastated, but she can't help the kid, he's young and in love. He's a Herondale after all.
I've seen Clary and Jace social feeds, they've been doing great in Paris. I've never seen this kind of love before, they're so young to feel this. I'm glad that they felt it.
Clary and Jace will arrive later tonight. Clary called me earlier telling me that, she has to meet me when they land. I just hope she has some good news.
I was in deep thought that I didn't realize, we arrived at the hotel. Luke and I are meeting the Waylands and Valentine for lunch. Something about the wedding. I sighed. Luke kissed the top of my head seeing the worry on my face.
We greeted Valentine and Michael, Nathan giving me a kiss on my cheek as a greeting. I smiled at him.
"What do you want to talk about?" I ask Valentine. We took a seat, Luke telling the server to serve our lunch that have been ordered already.
"Clary and Jace will be arriving tonight right?" Valentine asked.
"Yeah. So? "
"Oh, nothing. We just want to have lunch with you and Luke today..."
I rolled my eyes. This is new. Valentine inviting us to Lunch. Not to mention I divorced him and married Luke years later.

It was nine in the evening when Clary and Jace arrived at the Penthouse. I went straight to the Penthouse after meeting Valentine. I have nothing to do, so I decided to hang with Izzy, Jon and Simon. I invited Celine too.
"Oh.. Why are you guys here?" Jace asked us, seeing us lounging on the couch. He lets go of his luggage and went to kiss her mother and I. He has a huge smile on his face. Clary did the same. I wonder why he doesn't know. I looked at Clary, she shook her head like, she's reading my mind. Jace doesn't know that she told me to come over.
"We just missed you guys..." I told him. He smiles and nodded. The both of them went to their bedroom, to change. Soon they're back downstairs talking to us. About their trip. In the middle of our conversation, Jace bid his goodbye, telling us he wants to rest already. Clary kissed him, telling him she'll join him later.
"What is it you wanted to talk about?" I asked Clary since Jace is out of the ear-sight. Celine and Izzy looked confused. Jon left too, telling us that he'll go to Eric's with Simon.
