Zoey's pov

I gasp, my hand covering my mouth. Charlotte took one look at me, then broke down crying. I rush forward and and wrap her in my arms, holding her tightly.

"God dammit, Irwin. I though that you were dead," Charlotte sobs, "I came out here to check up on the boys."

"They lied," I say stupidly. Well of course they lied, Zoey. If they didn't lie, then you wouldn't be standing here right now.

"No shit," she laughs, wiping tears off of her cheeks. I do the same. Charlotte gives me another really big smile, then pulls me into another big hug.

"I told you not to go into the hospital, and you go and get yourself kidnapped," she jokes. I join in her laughing. I had missed her so much.

"Come on in. We have pizza," I offer, moving aside so my best friend could come into the house.

"Thanks Zoey," Charlotte says, walking inside. She throws her bag over to the side, then follows me into the family room.

"Damn. Who's the hottie?" Char asks, nudging my shoulder.

"That's Peyton," I answer as heat flares in my cheeks. Charlotte takes one look at my red face, then declares that we are talking about this later. I shrug, knowing that it's pointless to argue with her.

"Hey Charlotte!" Luke exclaims, a bite of pizza in his mouth.

"Chew with your mouth closed, Hemmings," Charlotte replies, sitting down beside him and Calum. I return to my seat in between Ashton and Peyton. Then I grab my pizza, and take a hug bite out of it.

"I've missed you so much," I say to the half eaten slice of pizza in my hand.

"You've really lost in, haven't you?" Michael teases.

"Probably. I just spent eight months, trapped in a windowless room, only eating a fast food meal a day, and having on warm water bottle per day. I wouldn't be shocked if I did go crazy," I admit. The boys are quiet.

"Why are you guys suddenly all quiet?" I question, finishing off my first piece.

"Because we feel really bad. They had fake badges. If we had paid closer attention, then we would've noticed," Calum answers.

"Except you wouldn't have been able to tell that it was fake," I reply.

"No. Andrew showed us how to tell," Luke pipes up.

"And when did Andrew teach you that?" Charlotte asks.

"After Zoey got ta- Alright, I see what you're saying. But we still feel really bad. We missed you so damn much," Michael tells me. He reaches across Ashton and gives me another hug.

"Trust me, it's fine," I assure them, hugging Michael back. The boys all smile at me.

I grin back, then grab my next piece of pizza.
