When my mom left, I get in my bathing suit while my family is out at the store.
I go outside and and stare at the pool. It seems like the perfect time to jump in.
I jump in and swim around. Uh it feels so good to just get in the cold water. I start going through everything that had happened.
It seems that no body even cares anymore except my mom. I don't even think Ellington would care. He probably thinks my family are control freaks.
I get out and go to the diving board. It seems so... Deep. I take a deep breath and I take a recording and I start talking.
"Dear mom,
I love you so much. I just want to say I will miss you.
Dear Dad,
I hope you be happy without me there.
Dear Rocky, Ross, and Ry,
I love you guys so much. I hope you guys have a amazing life without me.
Dear Ellington,
Even though we will not be together anymore, I will always love you and... I will miss you." I say biting my lip and write a sticky note to go to my recordings.
I lay my phone on the table and go back to the diving board. I take another deep breath and jump in.
I don't go back up.
