So I originally wanted the ending to be something like this, but I didn't know if you guys would want them to end off like this. I saw that you did fact, not want them together, so I leave you with this and you can choose which ending you'd like.

Two months later Dean did just that. He moved to California for college. Two years past and he was in a successful relationship with Michael Milligan. It was all perfect. But then it went hell. Castiel joined his class. As a student.

Dean couldn't accuse him of following him, as he never even noticed Dean was in the class. He sat in the back, occasionally looking up. After lessons Dean went to the field where he would be meeting Michael, but that's not quite who came along.

"Dean? Dean Winchester?" A voice called  Dean looked over to see a smiling Castiel. "Hey.." Dean said awkwardly. "What're you doing here?"

"I go here. I'm in your class actually. I'm waiting for my boyfriend." Dean explained. "Boyfriend? Guess I should've expected that." Cas laughed. "Yeah I guess, what about you? Any new man?"

"Nope. Not for maybe a little over two years?"

"Ever since I left?" Dean was more than surprised. "Yeah, I think that's right." Cas nodded. "Why not?" Dean asked. "Why bother? I tried a few times but just, were never you." A blush rose up Dean's neck. "I'm nothing special."

"We both know that's a goddamn lie."

And that's the point when the two of them noticed just how much sexual tension there was. Dean definitely grew more into himself, worked out. Cas looked like he ran marathons and his hair was... Blacker?

"Dean?" Another voice called. Dean turned and saw Michael. "Hey." He smiled, instinctively wrapping an arm around his waist. "Who's this?"

"Oh, Michael that's Castiel. An old.. Old ex. Castiel, Michael." Dean meant to say friend. Old friend. But they were nowhere near friends. They shook hands quickly. "I should actually be going. First day and all." Then Cas was gone.

"Anything I should be worried about?" Michael asked. "Definitely not." Dean smiled and he returned it.

Dean and Michael separated soon. Dean wanted to go straight home, but his book was in class. He had no trouble going in and getting its it was going out. He was grabbed and pulled into a small closet.

"Dean Winchester."

"What do you want, Castiel?" Cas shrugged. "Nothing just wanted to catch up. How you been?" Cas shrugged. "I'm fine." He was fine, until he realized just how closed they were.

The room itself was tiny and the stuff on the wall brought him closer to Cas. "I miss you Dean. I miss you some much. And I just really want to do something."

"What?" Dean sighed. Cas yanked Dean's collar down, forcing their lips together. Dean compiled immediately as Castiel spun them to pin Dean to the empty wall. Dean let out a groan as Castiel ran his tongue along Dean's lip.

As soon as his lips parted, Cas darted his tongue through. He massaged Dean's with his own, them both turning quite red in the face. It was only when Cas pressed his bottom half to Dean's that he snapped to his senses.

"Stop." He breathed. "But... We're having... So much.. Fun." He mumbled between the kisses he left down his neck. "Michael, he doesn't deserve this. And I can't, I can't just jump into anything with you."

"Aren't you over yet? God it was like four years ago. Now can you just make out with me please?" And that was enough to shut him up, for now.

They spent 45 minutes in that closet. Things got quite eventful, but nothing that crossed the line... Okay everything crossed the line. But soon Dean did stop it. "Okay, really, stop."

"Dean.." Castiel groaned. "I'm serious. This isn't going to continue. It started and ended here." Dean pushed Castiel off him. "You need to leave.. Or I do.. I just, I can't be around you." Dean quickly walked out of the small space.

"Dean." Cas called after him, but he payed no attention to him, just kept walking. Of course, Castiel Novak could not leave on those terms. He found Dean again, got a black eye, and decided to leave him alone, plenty of other prey, even if none were as fun as his own personal Winchester.

Dean and Michael? They broke up. It did have something to do with Cas, but Dean saw it coming anyway. But, he moved on. He hadn't heard from the devil with the blues eyes since that day, and he would have it no other way.
