Castiel. If you can hear me, I need you right now. It's really important and I'm stuck. Just, please come when you can.

Dean sighed and opened his eyes. It's now been 3 weeks since Cas had answered any of his prayers and he was starting to worry. He sat on his bed and waited. Maybe this time he'll come. Dean always got his hopes up when he prayed and was just more disappointed each time.

Cas. I don't know if you're mad at me, but whatever I did, I'm sorry. We're supposed to be family. I need you, man. Where the hell are you?

"Hello Dean." He heard the voice he's been longing to hear greet. Quickly he spun around around and met the trench coat-covered Angels eyes. "Cas?" He said surprised. Dean smiled and ran up to hug the Angel, but he put his hand up to stop him.

"What did you need Dean?" Castiel asked. "I didn't need anything. I just haven't seen you around and was wondering where you've been." Dean explained. "You said you needed help. What did you want to know?"

"Cas, I said what I had to say, what's up with you?" Dean questioned. "Dean. The only time you or Sam ever call is when you need help, or are in trouble, or need information. So spit it out." Cas sighed. "Cas, is that how you feel? Why didn't you say anything? You mean more than that to us." Dean furrowed his eyebrows.

"Really? Name one time you called me and didn't ask for help." Cas demanded. Dean sighed and sat on the bed. "Cas, when did you start thinking like this?" Dean asked. "Dean I've always felt like this. You were just to selfish to realize." Cas answered.

"I-I'm sorry. We didn't mean to make you feel like we were just using you." Dean apologized. "Goodbye Dean." Before Dean could stop him, Cas was gone. Dean groaned and fell back, falling asleep almost immediately.

The next morning Dean did his usual routine, brush his teeth, wash his face, shower, pray. As always, Cas never responded. Dean went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer. "Isn't it a little early?" Sam asked from the table.

"Ah, shut it Sammy." He responded. "So, hear anything from Cas?" Sam asked. "Actually yeah." Dean responded. "Really? What'd he say?" Sam said surprised. "He uh, he said he feels like we only call when we need something from him." Dean replied.

"That's ridiculous!" Sam scoffed. "Is it? Think about it, when do we call him just to say hey?" Dean responded.

"I'm gonna go for a supply run. I'll be back." Dean mumbled and left the bunker. He drove and drove until an idea popped into his head. He drove to an empty valley on the outskirts of town and pulled over.

Hey Cas. I know you can hear this so just listen ok? I understand why you're upset. I get it. So just, just come down for a second. You can leave whenever you want, just give me a chance.

Dean sat back and waited, and waited, and waited. He was slowly falling asleep when Cas appeared next to him. He jumped and sat up. "There you are." Dean smiled but Cas just looked forward. "What?" Cas asked. Dean sighed and started the car. "Where are we going?" Cas asked.

"I wanted to apologize. So I figured I could take somewhere. Show you some new things. Just for fun. And if you don't like it, then you can leave. I just want a chance." Dean explained. He looked over but Cas was gone. Dean growled and punched the steering wheel. After about two minutes of Dean just driving, Cas was back.

"I'm sorry Dean. I had to tell Hannah I wasn't going to be back for a while." Cas said and Dean smiled. "Could've told me that." Dean mumbled. "So where are we going?" Cas asked. "Well first, I thought why not take you on your first rollercoaster? So we are going to the fair." Dean answered. "Dean I cannot experience the thrill you do on rollercoasters." Cas explained.

"Just try to have fun." Dean groaned. "I can't do that either." Cas mumbled but Dean ignored it. He pulled up to the fair grounds and turn the car off. Him and Cas met in front of the car and walked up to the booth. "Two wrist bands." Dean requested. He handed the man the money needed then stuck his hand in. After his band was secured he took Cas' hand and put it up so he could get his.

The first thing Dean dragged Cas to was The Fireball. It was a circle track then held you upside down for a while then brought you back down, then repeated.

They've been at the fair for about two hours and Cas was finally starting to act like himself again. "Hey Cas, wanna go on the Ferris wheel?" Dean asked. "Dean, I have to go." Cas announced. "What? Why?" Dean asked, disappointed. "Hannah needs me." Cas answered. "B-But we were having fun! Come on man, you're really leaving?" Dean frowned.

"I'm sorry Dean." Cas said before disappearing. Dean clenched his jaw before turning on his heel and walked back to the car. He got in and shut the door behind him. He went to put the key in the ignition when suddenly he wasn't in his car anymore. He was at the top of the Ferris wheel, and Cas was across from him.

"Cas?" Dean said surprised. "Hannah can wait a little longer." Cas sighed. "Cas, you know me and Sam think of you as family right? That we would never want to hurt you." Dean said. "Yes Dean I know that." Cas answered. "Good." Dean smiled.

"Dean, you know that these rides are usually signs of romance, correct?" Cas asked. Deans eyes widened slightly and a slight blush crept to his cheeks. "Yeah, Cas. I've heard that." Dean mumbled. "I didn't just leave for the one reason." Cas announced. "Then why else?" Dean asked.

Cas sighed and closed his eyes before grabbing deans collar and pulling him into a kiss. "That is how I've heard humans express their feelings." Cas said shyly. "Um, yeah. Sometimes." Dean coughed awkwardly.

"I'm sorry if that was uncomfortable for you. I-I could leave if you'd like. I still have Hannah waiting and I don't want you t-" Cas' rant was cut short by Dean kissing him. "You still talk too much." Dean smiled. "I don't understand. I thought you only liked the girls." Cas said.

"Cas, why do you think I bothered you so much trying to get you to answer? I need you Cas." Dean whispered. "Can we go home?" Cas asked. "Mmhmm." Dean hummed in approval.

In seconds they were in front of the bunker door. Cas grabbed Deans hand, making him look down at him. Cas stood in his tippy toes and place a quick kiss on Deans lips. Dean smiled and opened the bunker door. Sam looked up at the noise. "Cas?!" Sam exclaimed. "Hello Sam." Cas greeted.

"Dean can I talk to you?" Sam requested. Dean nodded and Cas was quickly out of the room. "What's going on?" Sam asked as Dean came down the stairs. "I don't know what you're talking about Sammy." Dean answered. "Ok, well Cas doesn't answer for weeks, then you two walk in hand-in-hand." Sam elaborated.

Dean refused to face Sam due to the blush on his cheeks. "You're delusional, man." Dean laughed. "Dean, I'm your brother. You can tell me." Sam said. "There's nothing to tell Sammy. Yet." Dean winked before jogging to his room. When he got there he was delighted to see Cas waiting for him, laying in his bed.

"You should sleep." Cas said. "But you just got here." Dean rejected. "Dean, I'll be back. I'll stay until you fall asleep, ok?" Cas suggested. Dean nodded and crawled into the bed. Dean laid on Cas' arm and wrapped his own around his waist. "Goodnight, Dean." Dean had mumbled something like a goodnight back, before drifting to sleep.
