Moments- Tove Lo

I wake to Ty's face staring at me. His emerald green eyes gleam as they stare at me in the morning sunlight. "Hey," he whispers, then kisses my forehead. He sits, well, crouches, at the side of the bed, near the nightstand.

"Hey." I say, then kiss him on the lips. He grins at me. "It's eight o'clock." He whispers as he rubs circles on my back.

I smile. "Okay." I say. I move to sit up on the edge of the bed, and run a hand through my hair. Ty moves to sit beside me, and I smile. "You don't have a shift today, do you?" I ask him. He shakes his head.

"No." He says, and I think about why he took off, because there is rarely a day where Ty doesn't have to go in.

"Today is a huge day for you!" I exclaim as I look at Ty. He furrows his eyebrows, as if asking me to explain. "Uriah is calling you in to ask you to be the Ambassador!" I say, and then hug him.

"The Ambassador just has to go to meetings, so you'd still be able to keep your other job if you want." I say to him. He nods, then shrugs.

"It'd be cool to work with you." He says, and I smile, then turn to kiss him. He smiles through the kiss, and eventually we're both laying down on the bed. I cup his cheeks as I kiss him, then allow my hands to slide down over his shoulders and around to his stomach. My hands somehow slide under his shirt, and I trace his abs.

We're pressed together. I'm caged by his arms. Our legs are intertwined. It's a feeling I crave and one that I haven't felt in a while.

I don't want to lose you.

The words still echo in my mind, and I shudder as I hear them replay in my mind over and over again. Ty pulls away from our heated kiss and leans our foreheads together.

"Hannah and Dylan are awake." He whispers, and I smile.

I can just imagine Ty sitting on the couch, holding Dylan while Hannah sits beside him, her body curled into his side, whispering, "Da," to him as Dylan sleeps peacefully in his arms.

"Okay," I smile at him, and he grins.

Together we stand and walk to the door. He wraps an arm around me as I open the door, allowing both of us to step out. We walk to the end of the hallway, and Shauna sits on the couch, scrolling through something on her laptop.

Zeke stands in the kitchen, taking something out of the fridge. I continue to watch, and see that of course he's taking out a piece of cake. Only Zeke, and my father of course, but that's beside the point.

"Shaun, the couple's up." Zeke says as he walks out of the kitchen, a plate of cake in one hand, his coffee mug in the other, taking a sip.

"Dude, stop calling me that." Shauna says as she turns and looks in Zeke's direction. "Morning, guys." She looks at us.

I nod. "Morning." I say. Ty's hands stay placed on my shoulder, his thumbs massaging my shoulder blades.

"Morning," he says to his parents, and then leans in close to my ear. "What time do you have to be at work, babe?" He asks me, and I feel goosebumps prickle my skin as he speaks.

I smile. "Like nine," I say as I turn to him, looking down at his chest and then looking up at his eyes. He nods, his emerald green eyes sporting my reflection in their gloss. We lean into each other, and then Hannah steps in between us. "Yee!" She claps as she jumps up and down before falling down.
