Chapter 32:

"Baby... Please":

Song of Chapter: Latch- Disclosure Feat. Sam Smith

••••

The train drops us off at the entrance of the Amity sector. The Headquarters is about a block away.

"Come on," Ty whispers huskily in my ear, causing me to shiver. He still has that effect on me, and I doubt it will ever go away.

Ty lugs our suitcases behind him using surprisingly only one arm, the other stays wrapped around me. We walk toward the Headquarters, but suddenly, Ty turns and starts walking off to the side.

We step through thick, dew coated grasses, and soft green mosses that squish beneath our feet.

We continue to walk for a few minutes through the dark forest that is the Amity Sector, and then we arrive at a building. It's a little house, a cabin, but what's different about it and weird about it is that it's all alone, in the middle of nowhere. There aren't any other houses or buildings around it, just a woodsy atmosphere and an orchard on one side of the house.

Ty places our bags on the little patio porch, then sticks a key into the keyhole on the door. He opens the door and ushers me inside, before following my lead with our suitcases behind him. He shuts the door, then lays the key on a small table by the door.

"Ty, wha—" I begin to ask, but Ty just chuckles a little bit, turning and leading us into a living area, where we both sit down on the couch, in front of the fireplace.

Ty starts a small fire, and I feel relaxed just listening to the crackling and popping of the logs in the fireplace, watching the glowing embers as they float around in the small area before being sucked into the current of air that is inside the chimney. It's dark in the room, but the fireplace adds minimal light.

Ty smiles at me as I look around the room, amazed by what I see. "Ashton found this place and thought, Well, why not?" He says. I nod, smiling, then press a peppery kiss to his pale cheek.

That's one of the things that makes me love Ty so much. Ty tries his hardest to keep me happy, to make me feel loved, to show his love for me, and so much more, but he still thinks that he's inadequate, when he couldn't be a better guy for me. That's one of the reasons that I love him.

He's the perfect guy for me.

I pull a thin black t-shirt over my head and then turn to where Ty sits, looking out of the bay window in the bedroom of the cabin. The scenery is pretty nice, pear and apple and peach trees make up an orchard just outside of the open windows, which bring the scent of peaches into the room.

Pine trees and oak trees cover the other side of the house, in the woodsy area, giving the whole house and all of the land around it a pine needle scent with a hint of peach in it.

Further on, you can even see the brick buildings that make up Dauntless, since Amity borders one of the back sides of the compound.

I walk over and sit down across from him. Ty turns from the window and looks at me, the moonlight making his eyes gleam. He takes his hand in mine and squeezes it gently. "It still seems so surreal." He whispers, and I nod, grinning.

"We're married." I say, and Ty raises his eyebrows as he nods. I bite my lip. "Wow, it seems like it was just yesterday that you and I met, that you and I started dating, and now here we are." I whisper, my voice gone. I breathe in the scent of the peaches and almost throw my head back.

"True," Ty says and then we both begin to laugh. He holds my hand and somehow pulls me to be flush against his body smoothly, where my back is against his chest, my forehead against his neck, the two of us both looking out into the orchards. "I love you, Maddie." Ty whispers. I grin, then kiss his neck.

"I love you sooo much, my dear Ty." I somehow snake an arm around his torso, and then I'm basically straddling his lap. He smirks at me, then bites his lip. We both move to shut the bay window at the same time, each of us knowing what's coming next, and we don't want everyone to hear. In the blink of an eye, we're both standing.

"I've been waiting." Ty whispers in some form of a mock agony, walking towards my still standing body. "So long." He caresses my face, staring into my blue orbs. The pads of his thumbs caress the skin that covers my cheeks and I feel my eyes rolling back into my head.

Ty's eyes gleam and sparkle in the pale darkness, the moonlight still shining in through the window, and soon, he leans into me, pressing a light kiss to my soft lips.

I pull back. "So have I."

I look around the bedroom, from the floor, which our clothes are scattered across, to the ceiling, which the reflection of the soft rays of moonlight cover, then to the opposite side of the mattress that I lay on. Ty is there, staring back at me while smiling faintly.

"To us." He says as his hand drifts to lay on top of mine. The blankets only come up to about his waist, leaving the skin that makes up his toned abs in my line of vision. I smile.

"To us." I say, the blankets pulled up to my chest. Ty looks off to the side of the room, and I do as well, but then I smirk to myself. I roll over and lay on top of his body. He grins at me, his teeth a bright white in the dark room. I kiss his smiling set of lips, then hover over his body.

"Baby," Ty whispers and I smirk, "Please."

A/N: Maddie and Ty Chapter just for you guys! More to come! But for now I'm just going to rant about how awful life is right now. School life at the moment on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best: -10,000, because the work is like: nOOOPE. So I'm getting braces tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous because everyone is telling me that my teeth are going to rot while I have braces, that I'm going to have decalcification, and I'm scared again. I've brushed my teeth five times today, just because I want them to be super clean. #paranoid Anyways, wish me luck!! If you have any braces info, helpful tips, or experiences, feel free to message me or comment! I'll always respond!
