"Be safe!" Kellin yelled through the diner as I went to the door. "Don't come back pregnant now! I still have yet to find out whether I am or not."

I simply rolled my eyes and walked out, sticking my tongue out in his direction. As the door then closed behind me, Vic gave me a confused look. "Say what now?"

I snorted a little and shook my head. "It's nothing. Now, where are you taking me anyway?"

Vic smirked and unlocked the passenger seat door of an old red pick-up truck, signaling for me to get in. "Oh wow, I actually lived in one of these things for a while, it might even be the same one." I observed in a joking tone as I climbed into the seat. Although honestly, it wasn't really a joke.

The truck was one of those old ones with the creaky doors and mats on the floor. It had front and back seats, which were basically couches rather than separate chairs, and there was a huge bed at the back of it.

Vic securely closed the door and then quickly climbed in behind the steering wheel on the other side. I looked up, pulling down the sun protector, smiling when I actually saw what I was looking for.

This was in fact the truck that I lived in for a while when I was younger.

I ripped off the piece of tape that held together the leather and pulled out the old polaroid picture that I had hidden there so many years ago. "What the hell?" Vic wondered. "What's that? How did you know that was there?"

I smirked a little as I looked down at the picture in my hands. "Because I put it there." I then said, handing it to him.

"Is that you?" He then immediately asked, pointing down at the young girl in the partially faded photograph.

I simply nodded. "Yep, with my dog, Max."

Vic snorted a little, giving me a skeptical look. "You had a dog with the same name as you?"

"Of course. . . that way if I ever got into any trouble and people would tell my mom 'Max did it' then I could tell them they meant the dog."

Vic seemed to be very amused by that. And I couldn't help but to think how I loved seeing him smile at my silly jokes. Well, actually they were my silly life stories, but I just acted like they were jokes.

After handing the photo back to me, Vic started up the truck and began to drive. The sun had already started setting, and wherever we were going, we were sort of heading towards it. Eventually we arrived at a forest. The muddy road ahead looked a little sketchy, but it didn't stop Vic from driving down it anyway and up the hill at the end of it.

"Why does it look like this is where people go to murder stupid teenage couples?" I then asked, suspiciously glancing out of the window.

Vic chuckled silently, suddenly making the truck come to a halt as we'd reached the top of the hill. Without a word, he got out and hopped over to the bed of the truck, starting to loosen the straps that held down the leather cover.

I absentmindedly placed the photo that I was still holding on the dashboard and got out of the passenger's side, watching as Vic hoisted the cover off the bed of the truck. He climbed in and I couldn't help but to chuckle at how the entire thing was filled up with pillows and blankets.

"Are you going to stand there or are you going to join me?" He then asked with a sly grin as he held out his hand to me.

I took a hold of his hand and put my foot on top of the tire before jumping up. Vic easily pulled me over the edge and into the bed, securely wrapping his arms around me to make sure I didn't fall over.
