Shadow's Morning

Shadow's POV

"Hey Shadow, wake up." 
Shadow woke slowly to someone prodding him, "Just a few more minutes."
"Dude, it's already nearly midday. You really need to get up."
His stomach growled, "No wonder I'm hungry. OK, OK, I'm up."
"Good. Lunch is almost ready. You've been asleep on the couch all morning!"
"You could've moved me, I wouldn't have cared."
"Or we could've sat on you."
"That I would've cared about."

Shadow sat up. Sonic was standing over him, one hand on his shoulder.
"Where's everyone else?" he asked, yawning.
"Upstairs. All the girls are in Y/N's room and I have no idea what the guys are doing."
"Probably helping Knuckles look for the Master Emerald again."

Sonic laughed, putting a plate with several chillidogs on it in front of him, "Maybe."
Shadow grabbed one quickly, "Bet Rouge has taken it again."
"I heard that!"
"Oops. She'll kill me now."

Both boys laughed, holding on to each other's shoulders. Shadow fell off the sofa, crashing onto the floor. Sonic landed on top of him.

"Sorry."
"It's OK. Just let me up."

Sonic scrambled to his feet, letting Shadow push himself up.

"Well, I'm gonna go out. Better stretch my legs a bit so they don't get cramped up after sleeping on the couch."
"Take a chillidog with you. You've only eaten one and you might need it."
"Thanks. Tell Y/N I'll see her later."
"Will do."
