I see the fear in her eyes. She is afraid of me. Her feet are in a position ready to run.
Her eyes gaze into mine, trying to see when I will strike.
It's not the defensive position that makes me turn away. It's the fear. I stride out of the room without speaking.
She didn't have any reason to be afraid of me.
