[Cayden's POV]

I woke up to sunlight shining through my window, and groaned, squeezing my eye shut.

I turned away from the sunlight and opened my eyes surprised to see Johnnie asleep next to me, then remembered last night.

I smiled and leaned over and kissed his cheek.

He mumbled in his sleep and opened his eyes, looking up at me.

I smiled. "Good morning."

He just blushed and hid his face in his pillow.

I laughed and pulled him into a hug.

"Don't be shy, its just me," I said.

"But I am," he mumbled.

I smiled and pulled his face up to mine. "Just me."

He smiled and then his smile fell a little. "Where does this leave us?"

I thought about it. "I mean, I really do like you, I swear."

He looked up at me. "You really mean it?"

I smiled and nodded. "I sometimes wondered what it was like, and deep down, liking Alex that way didn't really feel right for me. I always felt something towards you, though, I didn't know if I was just curious or not," I confessed. "But now... I'm feeling really positive about this."

"So... Does this mean..." He asked nervously.

I smiled. "That we can be boyfriends?" I asked.

He looked up at me. "Only if you want to."

I smiled and held his hand. "Only if my boyfriend is you."

He smiled as some blush appeared on his cheeks and I leaned over and kissed him.

He smiled and kissed back.

We then pull back and smiled.

"I'm hungry," He said. "Let's get breakfast."

"Well, my dad's hungover, so let me cook some stuff," I said.

"Yes!" he cheered as he sat up. "You know, your mom was a good cook, but you were better, no offense."

I chuckled. "Its okay. She even said it herself once, too."

He smiled as we climbed out of bed and I pull on a tshirt before heading to the kitchen, Callie tackling Johnnie.

Johnnie yelped as Callie greeted him.

"Ahhahaaaa, no, please," Johnnie laughed. "Have mercy!"

I laughed and pulled Callie off of him.

"Alright, Callie, I like him, too," I laughed as I let her go and helped Johnnie up.

"Come on," I said and we went into the kitchen.

"Hey, Cayden?" Johnnie asked as he got some juice and I grabbed a pan to cook some bacon.

"What's up?" I asked.

"When do you think you'll tell your dad?" he asked.

It was a good question. I mean, my dad is pretty accepting, but... What if he hates me....?

"I don't know," I said as he walked up, holding my hand as Callie looked up at us, head tilted to the side looking curious.

His long lost son coming out as gay? What if he gets mad?

Or worse, take me back to the foster home in Ohio?
