"Green, hurry up!"

"I'm trying, but my little right toe hurts so bad... I knew I should have taken the comfy shoes... Black, how can you even keep up in those heels?"

"They're black. They're mine."

"Well, my green shoes are also green and they're mine, but that doesn't mean they don't hurt me"

"Then take them off! We need to get there as quickly as possible! We're getting late!" Blue continued shouting from the second place. First was Blue, second was Black.

"We're almost there!" Green said.

"You said that 10 minutes ago, too! Do you even know where we're headed?" Blue commented.

"I know these streets better than you. I'm 99.9% sure that the Portal is near."

"99.9% isn't 100%!" the blonde commentator argued.

"It is! Guys, maths isn't that hard," Black scolded them.

"Well, you are the best mathematician here, so it's you're place to say stuff like that, Blackie, and ye can't scold Bluie and I every time we try to use maths."

"I see you have a poor grammar as well."

"That's not true! At least I don't say continuously black, dark, black, chocolate, have I mentioned black?" the curly brunette stuttered.

"But you do say the word green at least 1000 times a day."

"Okay, we're here," Green suddenly stopped and the others had to come back for they were walking too fast and passed the point.

"Where?" Black looked confused at the paved street, the shops, and the people.

"There!" Green danced to a small brown flower pot. She tapped the edge seven times and it sucked Green into a colorful transparent vortex.

Black and Blue looked at each other and sighed, then ran into the Portal.

It led them in a huge marble chamber lit by the sunset.

"There's nobody here," Blue panicked. "Are we already too late?"

As soon as she said that, loud footsteps approached them. A man dressed in a tux with a white mustache and well-groomed hairs showed up and cleared his throat at them.

"Oh, Jefferson, here you were! For a second we got worried!" Green danced to him.

"Misses, the Queen has been waiting for you."

"Nay, a witch is ne'er tardy, the rest else is just too early," the brunette smirked cockily.

"Don't you dare poison the Queen's quotes," the butler said dryly.

Green stepped out of the conversation. She simply loved making others mad, though nobody could really be mad at her.

"Let's go already," Blue pushed the two where Jefferson came from, then he followed. They walked through the very long open hallway, passing by the large portrait of Gilda Reinherz, and smelling the pink and orange litrelins, and, before arriving at a huge golden door engraved with gold and bones, they each checked their long, fancy dresses and sweaty hair and then inhaled deeply.

"I'm so excited!" Green laughed and her lips curled into a long smile. "I haven't seen the Queen since she told 's we has to leave for that mission several years ago."

"Please watch your mouths, ladies," Jefferson said and opened the doors, which led to a gigantic room with windowless frames on each side, and in the middle of it, at the end of a pink carpet sat on a high velvet throne a small old lady with a golden crown, too heavy for her fragile head.

Blue, Black, and Green walked synchronized and bowed when they reached her. The Queen waved them to get up and smiled at them. She was pretty fat for a Queen, but her clothes looked very good on her. She was soon turning 977, but no one would have figured that out.

"Ladies, I wonder if you know why I have summoned you here on such a short notice," the Queen started with a very shriveled voice.

"No, your Majesty." Blue spoke nervously.

"Well, you know that soon I'll be retiring and the throne is going to belong to my eldest son, Elijah."

The girls nodded, getting a bit relaxed.

"He, unfortunately, could never look a woman right in the eye. You see, he's a workaholic with no time for personal matters, and I am worried about that."

The Queen made a dramatic pause to get her thoughts in order, but the girls stiffened again.

"I request that you persuade my dear Elijah in understanding that he cannot succeed the throne unless he finds a wife."

"Where can he find a wife if that's not none of his interests?" Green continued, chuckling. The Queen responded, giggling too, but Blue elbowed Green in her ribs, act that made the brunette laugh harder. Green's laugh was contagious, so not even Blue and Black could abstain from laughing.

"I am glad to see that you're having fun," Prince Elijah cleared his throat. His voice seemed annoyed and he prolonged the word 'fun' as to point out something wrong.

"Oh, darling. We were just talking about you!" the Queen said, without stopping her laugh. She suddenly seemed a lot younger.

"Oh, really? May I know why am I the ... subject of your laughter?"

Prince Elijah was everything but not... adorable. Not cute, not funny and not easy-going. He was handsome, true, but his behavior was lacking the charming prince everyone wanted him to be. He always had that cut between his eyebrows from too much frowning and some say he was born with it.

"You are excused now, ladies," the Queen said and waved them away. They bowed and walked with their backs, still smiling and waving to the Queen and when they got to the prince they suddenly became serious and Jefferson closed the door behind them.

As soon as the door was closed again, Black smacked Green, and Green smacked Blue, and blue smacked Green too, and the latter started laughing again.

"Do you know who you were talking to?!" Blue scolded.

"I didn't say nothing bad!"

"YOU MADE FUN OF THE PRINCE!"

"I didn't! I... I still don't understand what the Queen wants us to do! Marry him or what?!"

"I think that that's out of the question!" Black joined the discussion, but couldn't hide her smile. Her black clothing and red matte lipstick made her white smile more beautiful than one can imagine.

Blue was still smiling, but she looked as light as ever with her blue eyes, pale skin, and blonde hair.

"Whatever, let's go back."

"Why must you always hurry? Chill out, girl, we just came back after a long time. Let's hang out with the other girls!" Green said.

"Yeah, that's a good idea" Black approved.

"Fine" Blue nodded.
