Steven universe x gem reader

episode 20 "Bismuth"

"Oh my goodness!"

"Go for it, bro!"

"This is your last chance."

"Watch out!"

"No... No...! Jump... Jump...!"

Steven's character dies in-game.

"Aww!..." We all say.

"Dying a bunch in video games is emotionally exhausting. Huh?"

We turn and look from the bed to see Lion, who is playing and chewing on one of Steven's shirts.

"Lion!"

Steven runs down and tries to pull the shirt away from Lion's mouth.

"Drop it!"

Steven successfully pulls the shirt from Lion and falls backwards on the ground.

"Lion, you can't chew this up." He looks at his shirt, reading 'Thunder Bird - Always Remember.' "How else am I going to remember the time I rode the Thunder Bird at Funland?"

Steven puts the shirt on his dresser, next to his Thunder Bird badge and Thunder Bird photo frame.

'How could you not remember it?'

Stevenwalks back to his game console.

"Okay, I'm sure this time..."

Steven turns and sees Lion, who has climbed onto the dresser and grabbed Steven's shirt again.

"Lion! Don't even think about it!"

Lion attempts to head for the door, but Steven jumps in to block his path. He then grabs the shirt and pulls it away from Lion again.

My attention, however, is brought back to the TV where Amethyst is playing instead of Steven.

"Oh look out!" I say.

"I am!"

She presses some buttons and the character dodges.

'It's like your controlling a movie.'

"Jump! Jump!"

"I am jumping!"

We hear a thud in the living room and We Gems turn to look at Steven.

"I've made a horrible mistake!"

"Wha!?"

"Hold on, I can fix it!" He dives back inside Lion's mane.

I look back to the TV and see Amethyst died in-game and now the words 'GAME OVER' are on the screen.

Anyway we make our way to Lion and wait for Steven to report back.

He falls back out and breathes heavy.

"There's a Gem inside of Lion's mane!"

"A Gem?"

"Describe her."

"Uhh... hang on a sec."

He looks back in.

"She's big!"

He goes back in.

"With rainbow hair and tattoos!"

"Rainbow hair...?" Pearl looks at Garnet and mewith great concern. "What does her gem look like?"

"It's... an innie?"

"It can't be..."

"Can't be what?"

"Steven, bring her out."
