It's been a few hours since the Bad Batch and the others return back to the Republic lines. So far, in the hanger, Hunter can be seen walking beside Rex and General Skywalker as they reported in to what they saw and encountered from the Cyber Center.
"Word is the general staff isn't completely behind this mission." Hunter spoke, holding his helmet underneath his arm as Rex spoke.
"I admit the idea that Echo is still alive is a long shot."
"I'm sure the Council will approve the mission. Just remember the primary goal is to learn how the Separatists are predicting our strategy, whether it's Echo behind it or not." Anakin added on as he addressed Hunter in front of him. Noticing he furrow his eyebrow at the idea.
"Well, if you want my opinion, sounds like a trap, but me and the boys will tag along anyway, if only to say "I told you so."
"Just make sure you're ready if we get the go-ahead from General Kenobi." Anakin reminded Hunter as Rex looked back at the General. "If you're certain he'll approve the mission, why wait? Let's get going."
Anakin stopped Rex for a moment, trying to remind him about his secret rendezvous with Padmé he had to meet down at the barracks.
"First, we have that thing to do."
"Uh, what thing?" Rex asked, not getting the hint as Anakin gave him a look.
"You know."
Rex finally caught on to what Anakin was referring to as he gave him a side glance at Hunter. "We don't have time for that, sir."
"Yes, we do." Anakin spoke firmly, raising his eyebrows at Rex as Hunter looked back between the two. Thinking that they must have some kind of "special relationship" going on, getting the hint to take his leave as he raised his hand at both of them to not make it awkward.
"Well, I'll just let you two sort this out. I'll be waiting on the ship with the rest of the team." Hunter saluted, heading back to the Marauder while Anakin looked back at Rex once more, patting him on the back.
"Come on, Rex. I'm late as it is."

In the Marauder, I had my weapons ready to go as I noticed Crosshair standing in the corridor with the others. Remembering to what he said to me back in the refresher, causing a disappointed look to appear on my face.
I debated on this for awhile to figure out how to thin the ice between Crosshair and I, until I heard footsteps coming up the ramp. In front of me, I noticed Hunter stepping inside, placing his helmet on the counter as I approached him.
"Well, Sarge, are we rolling?" I asked as Hunter shook his head at me. "Not yet. Rex and his General have some personal business to take care of but we'll be leaving in no time, Mari." Hunter reassured as I placed a hand on my hip.
