So far everything has been quiet in the Marauder

So far everything has been quiet in the Marauder. Except for the sound of the monitor buzzing by, nonetheless it felt odd that Crosshair wasn't here with us.

He always had a special place inside the Marauder during our missions and now it feels like a piece of the ship were to be missing something.

I know one thing for sure and it's that Crosshair is not just anyone who is only good at being obedient and loyal. He cares about everyone he values deeply and doesn't need to express it to prove how much he cares. What matters is doing the right thing and not being played for a pawn.

In the ship, I stood next to Hunter and Echo as a few hours have passed. Realizing how awfully quiet the room has been as Hunter tap on the button to slide the door open. Checking up on Omega and Wrecker to see what they have been doing lately.

To my surprise, a smile appeared on my face, seeing Wrecker and Omega sleeping on the floor near the monitors as a few stuff cluttered around them.

*Sighs* "Well, this is a first." Hunter spoke, looking at the two earnestly. "Inspecting every corner of the ship finally tired her out." Echo spoke as I looked at him.

"Well, she's been through some excitement, we all did. It's makes sense how tired she'll be sooner rather than later, that is." I said as Hunter looked at Omega.

"Yeah, she's curious. I'll give her that."

I noticed Echo letting out a sigh, turning to look at both of us as the subject quickly changed. "Hunter, Mari. She's a child. What are we going do with her?" Echo asked, knowing he became concern of Omega's safety.

At this point, none of us really knew what to expect in the outcome as I carefully think about Omega's situation. Obviously, Echo has a point, Omega is a child. If she were to tag along with us during one of our missions, she could be at risk getting hurt or even worse.

Omega deserves to have a carefree life and not have her childhood taken away just to become some assistant at a dumb lab. It be hard for Hunter...and Omega to face the facts but...maybe it would be best if we send her to live with Cut and Suu. She'll experience a great life living there without war or any fear or death.

My thoughts became quickly interrupted as I heard Tech's voice calling out from the cockpit.

"We are coming up on Saleucami."

I stepped into the cockpit to see we were coming out from hyperspace, watching the planet come into view. Soon, Tech landed the ship in a secluded forest, feeling the ship gently pressing on the ground as the landing bay opened.

I was met with sunlight shining on my face as I squinted my eyes. Taking a moment to adjust to my surroundings before following the others out of the stairwell.

Since we're seeing Cut and Suu, it's obvious we don't need to take our helmets with us since the plan is to lay low and take a break from fighting.

We all stopped for a moment to look back and see Omega looking at her surroundings in awe. It made sense that all of this would be new to her, given the fact that she's never been off-world and grew up on Kamino all her life.
