Okay, so this chapter it pretty gruesome and nasty. When writing, I kept asking myself "Am I going into the detail too much?" lol.

It's crazy so...

CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE

"What the hell are you talking about? So you're saying you can't do anything? That you made us wait a week while my brother sat here withering away?!" Derek yelled angrily, causing the atmosphere to become worse than it already was. Elle's eyes widened and looked hurt by Derek freaking out on her.

"I-I'm sorry," Elle cried before collapsing to the floor in a heap of sorrow. Santana had been on the floor for over five minutes, crying her heart out. The tears stung her skin as they flowed down her cheeks. Hadyn crumpled to the floor beside her, crying as well but still trying to comfort Santana.

"You'll find a way right, Elle? There has to be a way!" Hadyn cried watching Elle intently, who stared off into space while the tears trickled down her face. She felt guilty, that it was her fault because she made them wait a week. It was all for school, she could have taken the week off but she didn't.

"Please think of something!" Damon yelled at Elle.

"I-I think I know a way, but it's risky," Elle's eyebrows furrowed together in thought.

"I don't care, please do it Elle!" Santana cried. She'd do anything; risk all to get the real Nova back.

"It could kill you, Santana. This isn't something I've done before and the spirits for some reason won't talk to me," Elle stared at Santana in the eyes, trying to get her point across at how dangerous it actually was.

"I'll do whatever it takes," Santana replied confidently. Her body shook in fear but even so, Sage agreed with her decision. They both would do anything for Nova.

*Do it,* Sage howled loudly.

After Elle got her bag out, they sat in a large circle. Chloe had been so angered by her decision that she ran out of the room, but Troy stayed to support her. He knew she wouldn't be able to live without her mate, just wanted her to be happy.

Santana sat in the middle of the large circle with Elle in front of her. With white chalk, Elle drew a circle around Santana for the ritual. Then with a knife, she reached over to Santana's hand and cut deeply into it and then got Troy to do the same to Nova. Santana hissed at the pain, and gasped at how much blood spilled out of her palm. Bringing the bloodied blade back to Elle, she mixed Santana's blood with Nova's.

Looking around at her friends, Santana nodded at them. It was for the best. She'd be dead anyways without him, so what was the difference if something bad happened and she died while doing the ritual?

"Don't do this, Santana..." Derek spoke to her left of the circle, facing the door.

"I'll make it out, Derek. If I don't, then, look after my family every once in awhile," Santana turned back to Elle, not wanting to cry again.

Elle then spoke in some ancient language suddenly and she felt the world rumble around her. Everyone else didn't seem to notice which was strange. And then the circle drawn out of chalk that surrounded her spread around the room until it was a massive circle.

Boom!

Santana yelped as her legs were pulled up into the air as if she was floating in the wind and then thrown to the ground. She braced herself for impact with the hard floor but hit the ground gently, positioned on her feet. Opening her eyes, she noticed herself standing in the hallway of her old high school. People passed her, but never looked or said anything to her like usual. She saw a boy who talked to her once but as soon as she confronted him, he walked right through her! Santana gasped in complete shock. What the hell?! She shrugged, knowing that it was all just her imagination, all just part of the ritual.
