Thalia didn't want to be outshined, so she ran up to McGonagall as soon as her name was called. She remembered what Annabeth had told her at the sorting, and had said nothing about the usage of her last name. Jason was an eagle, Annabeth was an owl, Nico was a unicorn, which still made her smile.
"Here, take this", McGonagall said, giving Thalia the potion.
Thalia responded by taking the potion, and saying, "bottoms up", before drinking the potion. A flash of lightning outside, and Thalia felt a powerful sensation in her chest, one that was more powerful than when she gained immortality for joining the hunters. She let loose, and found out what her animagus form was going to be.
Her nose turned into a button, her body elongating. Her skin was covered with fur, and her arms grew longer. She opened her mouth for a second, and you could see the fangs. She smiled a toothy smile. She was a wolf. She shifted back and ran to the demigods, where she was met with loud applause. She waited to hear the next name called, who ended up being the first real witch getting her animagus form.
"GRANGER, HERMIONE".
